Tai'an

Tai’an (泰安) is an excellent tourist city and a famous historical and cultural city in Shandong Province (山东省), located at the southern foot of the magnificent Mount Tai (泰山). With a history of thousands of years, Tai’an has long been an important center of Chinese culture, religion, and pilgrimage. Jade Emperor Peak (玉皇顶) – The Summit of Mount Tai: Jade Emperor Peak is the highest point of Mount Tai, reaching about 1,545 meters above sea level, and is traditionally known as the “First Peak under Heaven.” Named after the Jade Emperor, the supreme deity in Chinese mythology, the peak offers spectacular panoramic views and is one of the best locations to experience the famous Mount Tai sunrise.
