Shanghai Yintao Golf Club

Shanghai Yintao Golf Club winds through brooks and glistening ponds filled with reeds and lilies. European-style iron and stone bridges also line the course.Designed by Petter-Thomson, a world-famous Australian professional golfer, Yintao features an international standard 18-hole 72-par course with a full length of 7,108 yards.

The course also features an advanced vapor-pressure illumination system for night play. The club boasts ultramodern facilities and services for their members, including a swimming pool, health club, sauna, and luxurious dining hall.

Nice-looking spot, and a full 72 par, 7,100 yard 18-hole course, though it is pricy for a non-members-only club. It’s expansive (they include golf buggies in the course price), and it’s got a wetlands sort of feel to it, with a fair amount of water features. Clubhouse is okay here, with an indoor pool, billiards and massage service. There’re rumors that the management is a bit obnoxious to deal with, but SmSh staff didn’t run into any trouble when we went to check it out. Probably worth the trip just for the driving range, which manages to feel like a country club and not a concrete firing range.
