2 Days Recommended Qufu Tour
If you are planning to spend two days visiting Qufu, you can visit Shimenshan Mountain or Nishan Mountain after your visiting to the Confucian Temple, the Confucius Family Mansion and the Confucian Confucius Cemetery on first day. Shimen Mountain is located in northeast Qufu and is 25 kilometers from the center of Qufu. It has picturesque scenery that you can enjoy. Besides, it has its own cultural landscape. Many poets, like Li Bai and Du Fu, visited there in ancient times. However, Nishan Mountain is in southeast Qufu and it is 25 kilometers from the center of Qufu. It is recorded that Confucius was born there. Therefore, there are many spots related to Confucius in Nishan Mountain. Also, there is a temple built to commemorate Confucius. You can decide which mountain you are going to visit according to your next destination.
3 Days Recommended Qufu Tour
If you plan to spend 3 days visiting Qufu, you can visit the Mausoleum of Shao Hao(少昊稜) and the Zhougong Temple (周公庙) on the third day.
The Mausoleum of Shao Hao(少昊稜), who was an emperor before Xia dynasty, is in eastern Qufu. The Zhougong Temple (周公庙) was built to commemorate Jidan(姬旦) who was one son of King Wen of the Zhou Dynasty(周文王).
