11 Days Beijing-Xian-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai Small Group Tour

We will start the tour form the center of the city - Tiananmen Square. Go north through the square and you will reach the Forbidden City. As the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure in the world, it has more than 8,000 pavilions and thousands of historic treasures. Then enjoy the lunch.

In the afternoon, head to visit the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties - the Temple of Heaven. Then have a fantastic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre in the evening.

Get up early to visit Badaling Great Wall. Great Wall is one of the greatest architecture projects in human history. Then visit Ming Tomb, where 13 emperors and their wives of the Ming Dynasty were buried. See the appearance of Bird’s Nest on the way to your hotel at a distance.

Visit the Summer Palace in the morning, , which used to be the summer resort for royal families and emperors. In the afternoon, walking along Beijing hutong alleys, narrow but original. Then fly to city of Xian. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Today visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. After that, visit the Xian Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. At night, enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show(paid by yourself).

Today visit the City Wall. And then visit Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China and one of the largest with the large storage of cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.

Have a la carte lunch at a decent local restaurant, then continue to visit the Great Mosque. Later taste some local snacks on the Muslim Street.

After that, escorted to take the flight to Zhangjiajie. Picked up at airport and transferred you to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, and head to Zhangjiajie national forest park. Take the park green bus get to Bailong elevator station, then ascend the Yuanjiajie Mountain (Bailong Lift Sightseeing Terrace) by the Bailong Elevator - a glass elevator built into the side of the mountain.

Then continue the tour to Tianzi mountain, visit imperial brush, Xihai stone forest, fairy lady present flowers. Move on to Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi). This charming valley is most likely to bring you into the Pandora's wonderland of the movie Avatar.

The last stop is the Ten-mile gallery.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then drive about 40min to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Walk along the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This bridge is not only the highest, but also the longest glass bridge inthe world. It is not for the faint-hearted. The Glass bridge is built between two mountains of zhangjiajie Grand canyon, which is 375 meters long and 6 meters wide, With a height of 300 meters from bottoms.

Then continue today's tour toBaofeng Lake, where we can enjoy some locals singing, while taking a boat ride on the lake.

After breakfast, get ready to take the world's longest cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain. Once we arrive at the mountaintop, wander along the Ghost Path, 1400m above land. Along the way, you can also appreciate tourist attractions like Celestial Mountain Top, Glass Path, etc. You can also marvel at such sights as the 99-Turn Road and the 999-Steps that lead to the gate of Tianmen from up high on a glass sky walk. Opt. to take a chairlift to see the Tianmen temple, or choose to walk along a footpath. We will then take the escalator to reach Tianmen Gate.

Today we will visit Shanghai Museum to learn Chinese history, culture and art. Then off to the Yuyuan Garden to enjoy the classical Chinese garden with trees, flowers, ponds, bridges, rocks, pavilions, and halls.

Have a la carte lunch at a decent local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the bund, which is located along the Huangpu River. Then have a short cruise on the Huangpu River.
