6 Days Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Langmusi Monastery and Ruoergai Grassland Tour

Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong was listed as the World Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 1992, both famous for natural wonders. There are other two amazing attractions nearby: Rouergai grassland and Langmusi Monastery at the border of Gansu Province. Ruoergai Grassland is a peculiar area at the edge of Tibetan Plateau, which is filled with yaks and sheep in summer.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Jiuzhaigou Arrival

Upon your arrival, our guide will pick you up from airport or bus station and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable and clean car. Then have a good rest.

Day 2: Jiuzhaigou

Sightseeing and Activities: Jiuzhaigou Valley, Tibetan Culture Show(paid by yourself)
Accommodation: Jiuzhaigou
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Spend the whole day at Jiuzhaigou National Park to enjoy all three valleys including many colorful lakes, gushing waterfalls and pristine forest. Have a picnic in the park as lunch. In the afternoon, trek along the 4 iconic lakes of Jiuzhaigou, about 6-7km. See a local Tibetan Culture Show in the evening(paid by yourself).

Day 3: Jiuzhaigou – Huanglong – Chuanzhusi

After breakfast, drive about 2 hours to Huanglong National Park. Then hike up to the top of Huanglong Park, with colorful lakes, snow-topped mountains, beautiful valleys and virgin forests along the way. Walk down or take one way cable car going downhill(cable fee paid by yourself). After that, drive to Chuanzhusi Town for overnight.

Day 4: Chuanzhusi – Langmusi

Sightseeing and Activities: Ruoergai grassland, Flower Lake, Langmusi Monastery
Accommodation: Langmusi town
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Depart from the hotel and drive northwest to Ruoergai grassland and Flower Lake. In the summer, enjoy the impressive landscape with flourishing flowers and greenery. Then drive to visit Langmusi Monastery and see the stunning sunset at Namo valley. Langmusi town is a small and intriguing town standing at the border of Sichuan Province and Gansu Province. Stay at Langmusi town for overnight.

Day 5: Langmusi – Chuanzhusi

Sightseeing and Activities: sunrise, first bend of the Yellow River, Sochang Monastery, Wache Pagodas Forest
Accommodation: Chuanzhusi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Get up early to catch the sunrise from the observation deck of Langmusi Monastery, where you can have a view of sky burial at a distance. Respect the local custom if you see the sacred sky burial. Then drive to the first bend of the Yellow River which you will be amazed at by its S-shape zigzagging waterway. Then drive to visit Sochang Monastery nearby, a medium-size Tibetan monastery. Continue to drive back to Chuanzhusi via Wache Pagodas Forest, where we will stop and have a visit.

Day 6: Chuanzhusi Departure

After breakfast, drive you to airport or bus station. Tour ends today.
