Sansha

Sansha (三沙) is a prefecture-level city in southern Hainan Province (海南省), located in the central and southern parts of the South China Sea (南海). Established in 2012, Sansha administers the island groups and surrounding waters of the Xisha Islands (西沙群岛), Zhongsha Islands (中沙群岛), and Nansha Islands (南沙群岛).
