Yala Snow Mountain is a perfect trekking place along the Sichuan-Tibet tour, which is the highest snow capped mountain in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture with an altitude of 5,820 meters. It is one of the four holy mountains worshipped by the local Tibetans. We will will start from Zhonggu Village of Kanding county to Taizhangou, which is also the most famous trekking route. Day 1: Chengdu Arrival
Sightseeing and Activities: Airport pick-up

Upon your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up from airport and transfer you to your hotel. Then have a good rest.
Day 2: Chengdu – Ya’an – Kangding – Zhonggu Village (357km)
Sightseeing and Activities: sceneries along the road, hot springs
Accommodation: guestroom at Zhonggu Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, head to Yala Snow Mountain (Yala Kamiyama) along the Chengdu-Ya’an Highway and G318. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of western Sichuan, especially Dadu River Grand Canyon, the largest one in western Sichuan.
Upon arrival in Kangding, buy some necessary supplies for hiking. Then drive to Zhonggu Village and stay overnight at a local villagers’ house. You can have natural hot springs nearby.
Day 3: Trekking from Zhonggu Village to Xindianzi Grassland

In the early morning, start the adventure hiking journey. We will walk 18 kilometers from Zhonggu Village to Xindianzi Grassland in 4 or 5 hours. Passing the Yala river valley and enjoying the jagged peaks. Camping on the Xindianzi Grassland (also East Hillside Camp Base) for the night.
Day 4: Trekking from Xindianzi to Yalayongcuo Lake

Today, hiking 18km from Xindianzi to Yalayongcuo Lake, which covers the highest Yala Pass of the trip at about 4,216m. Enjoy the stunning alpine views. Through the pass, we will arrive at Sisters Lakes and see the jade-green Yalayongcuo Lake. The bank of the Lake is where we will camp for overnight.
Day 5: Trekking from Yalayongcuo Lake to Taizhangou Valley

Today, hiking 8km from Yalayongcuo Lake to Taizhangou Valley. Walk on the mountain road and enjoy the snow-capped peaks, pass through the Zhara Holy Mountain and Donggu Spring. Then walking downhill, we will arrive at the Taizhangou. Our car will transfer you to Danba county for overnight.
Day 6: Danba County – Jiaju Tibetan Village – Suopo Diaolou – Danba County(49km)

Accommodation: Danba county
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, head for Tibetan Village, one of the most beautiful villages in China. There are more than 140 families with colorful Tibetan buildings.
In the afternoon, head for Suopo Diaolou standing on the both side of Dadu River. Then back to Danba county.
Day 7: Danba – Chengdu (430km)

Today, drive back to Chengdu. Have lunch on the way and reach Chengdu downtown in late afternoon.
