8 Days Chengdu Daocheng Yading Adventure Tour

Around 07:00 AM, our guide and driver will meet you at your place. Then drive through Yaan city, Mt. Erlangshan and Kangding city. Then we will reach the Dadu River Grand Canyon and Zheduo Mountain Pass. Finally arrive at Xinduqiao. The whole journey takes 7-8 hours. Enjoy the spledid scene in Xinduqiao, which is called the Paradise of Photographers.

Today we will drive 8 hours to Daocheng via Litang. Litang is the highest town with an altitude of 4014m. Appreciate the strong nomadic features and traditional Tibetan life of Litang. And there are Hose-racing Festival in every August. On the way we will pass the Jianziwan & Kazila mountain. Then across the Rabbit Mountain and Haizi Mountain Natural Reserve. Continously drive to Daocheng where you can recharge youself.

Drive to Yading Nature Reserve in the morning. It takes about 2 hours to Shangrila town. Pay a visit to a local family if time permits. Then take the local sightseeing bus to LongLong Ba, hike or ride horse to visit Chonggu Temple(horse riding paid by yourself). After that, trekking about 30-40 minutes up to Pearl Lake. Pearl Lake is the best place to view the holy peak Xiannairi. Afterwards back to Yading village for overnight.

Get up early in the morning to see sunrise at Chonggu Temple, and then take the local storage Battery Bus to Luorong Pasture, which is the best place to pilgrim the three sacred peaks of Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduojie. Then hike or take a horseback riding(paid by yourself) up to Milk Lake (4600m) and Five-Color Lake (4600m). Usually the hiking tour will take about 6-7 hours. Afterwards return to Yading Shangrila Town for overnight.

After breakfast, drive back from Daocheng to Xinduqiao. Appreciate the beautiful natural beauties along the way. Then check in hotel in Xinduqiao for overnight.

Get up early to see sunrise of Xinduqiao. Then drive to visit Tagong Monastery, which is a famous tibetan buddhism Ningmapa(Red sect) monastery located at northwest Sichuan Khampb area. After the visit, drive to Danba to visit the ancient stone towers and Jiaju Tibetan village. On the way, we will pass the Tagong grassland and see the Yala Mountain. Enjoy the fabulous scenery along the way. After that, drive back to hotel for rest.
