Qiaotou Miao Zhuang Township, one of 506 poverty-stricken townships in Yunnan Province, one of 106 poverty-stricken townships of ethnic minorities in Yunnan Province, is located in the southeast of Yunnan Province, in the north-east of Hekou County, between 22 ° 27-22 ° 45, 104-104 ° 17, east longitude, Southeast of mengkang County, Laojie province of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, west of Maguan County, Wenshan Prefecture, and borders the country The line is 81 kilometers long and 80 kilometers away from Hekou County. Ethnic 

The town is a collection of ethnic, remote, mountainous, poverty as one of the ethnic townships. The ethnic distribution is mainly concentrated in four points. Namely: xiawanzi and Laojie Qiaotou Miao Zhuang Township. Most of the sub-villages are Miao gathering points; most of the Zhongzhai villages are Zhuang gathering points; most of the Qiaotou and laowangshan villages are Buyi gathering points; most of the panchuqing and zhulinzhai villages are Yao gathering points.

Natural Resources

The main industry is agriculture, with rice and corn planting as the main industries, and the breeding industry (pig breeding) developing simultaneously. The special agricultural projects such as, grass and fruit, orange, banana, planting mulberry and sericulture have also been promoted to a certain extent. The water resources are rich and the rainfall is abundant. 

History and humanity

The town is a collection of ethnic, remote, mountainous, poverty as one of the ethnic townships. Because most of the ethnic minorities on our border and Vietnam border are Miao and Yao. In order to carry out ethnic-cultural exchange activities, some ethnic minorities organize and carry out various colorful ethnic groups in the village committee or villagers’ group where ethnic groups are relatively concentrated each year.
