Liaoning Province, in southern Northeast China, is a unique blend of mountains, plains, coastlines, and borderlands. It is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty, the cradle of modern industry, and one of the origins of the Hongshan Civilization. Liaoning’s tourism is diverse, offering imperial heritage, coastal resorts, mountain landscapes, revolutionary history, industrial heritage, and ancient architecture.

Four Major Tourism Regions

Central Liaoning – Cultural Heart (Shenyang, Fushun, Liaoyang, Anshan)

• Highlights: Qing imperial heritage, world-class royal tombs, Manchu cultural experiences, hot springs, and industrial landmarks.

Western Liaoning – Heritage & Ancient Civilization (Jinzhou, Huludao, Chaoyang, Fuxin)

• Highlights: Great Wall relics, Ming Dynasty fortresses, Hongshan archaeological sites, and fossils.
