Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Welcome to the capital of China – Beijing! Upon arrival, met by tour guide and transferred to you hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Kung Fu Show(optional)
Accommodation: Beijing
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Tiananmen Square in Beijing

Breakfast at hotel, then start today’s tour with Tiananmen Square. Go north through the square and you will reach the Forbidden City. As the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure in the world, it has more than 8,000 pavilions and thousands of historic treasures.

The last stop is Summer Palace , which used to be the summer resort for royal families and emperors.

Then have a fantastic Chinese Kung Fu Show(optional) at the Red Theatre in the evening.

Day 3 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Bird’s Nest, Water Cube

In the morning, head to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Great Wall is one of the greatest architecture projects in human history. Then move on to Temple of Heaven – the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

See the appearance of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube on the way back to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian

In the morning, walk along Beijing hutong alleys, narrow but original. Then take the flight to Xian. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 Xian

Sightseeing and Activities: Terra-cotta Warriors, Xian Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Terracotta Army, Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xian

Today visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.

Then move on to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China and one of the largest with the large storage of cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.

The last stop is Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China.

Day 6 Xian – Chengdu

Sightseeing and Activities: Xian City Wall, the Great Mosque, Bell Tower

Today visit the City Wall. Visitors can rent a bicycle and take a ride on the wall. Then move on to visit the Great Mosque. Continue the visit to Bell Tower, a symbol of the Xi’an city and one of the grandest of its kind in China which was built during the early Ming Dynasty.

After the visit, transferred to airport to take your flight to Chengdu. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu

Sightseeing and Activities: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Sanxingdui Museum

In the morning, drive to Chengdu Panda Base in the suburb, where you can take a close look at the lovely pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, climbing trees, etc.

Then go to visit Sanxingdui Museum to explore China’s Lost Civilization.

Day 8 Chengdu – Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Zhaojue Temple, Wide and Narrow Alleys

In the morning, head to visit Zhaojue Temple and then transfer to Wide and Narrow Alleys. After the visit, take the flight to Guilin and the local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 9 Guilin – Lijiang River Cruise – Yangshuo

The highlights in Guilin tour is Li River cruise, which usually refers to the most splendid part from Guilin to Yangshuo. There are many famous spots that Li River boasts you will meet during the journey. Have a simple lunch on the cruise. Then disembark at Yangsuo and walk around West Street to find a lot of unique shops selling traditional handcrafts, hand-made scarfs, snacks of local flavor etc. Enjoy the leisure life of Yangsuo farmer.

Day 10 Yangshuo – Guilin – Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Banyan Lake, Fir Lake and the Southern Ancient Gate

In the morning, drive back to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill. Also known as “the Palace of Natural Arts”, Reed Flute Cave is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin’s most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of the city of Guilin, which got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water.

Then enjoy a pleasant walk around the scenic Banyan Lake, Fir Lake and the Southern Ancient Gate. Later transferred to Guilin airport for your flight to Shanghai. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 11 Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Town’s God Temple, Yuyuan Garden, former French Concession, the Bund, Nanjing Road

The first stop of today’s Shanghai tour is – Town’s God Temple. It is a famous Taosim temple in Shanghai area, and the must-see attraction when traveling in Shanghai.

Then we will head to Yuyuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden(or Yun Garden) is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. It abuts the Yuyuan Market.

Afterwards we will stop at the Bund, which is located along the Huangpu River. It is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai.

Later in the afternoon, we will visit Shanghai French Concession, which was once designated for the French. The tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions in the area still retain an air of the “Paris of the East”.

Day 12 Shanghai Departure
