    Kanas Lake is one of the most beautiful sights in the North Xinjiang area, which presents different colors in different seasons. It was formed around 200,000 years ago as a result of glacier movement. Besides, during this tour, you could also enjoy the best landscape of Northern Xinjiang.

    1

    Urumqi Arrival

    Upon you arrival, met by our tour guide and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this city.

    2

    Urumqi - Fuyun: Wucaicheng, Huoshao Mountain, National Wildlife Park

    Today we will drive to Fuyun and visit Wucaicheng(colorful city), a typical Yardan landform, which is famous for its imposing views and and natural treasures. Along the way, we will pass by Huoshao Mountain and National Wildlife Park.

    Fuyun - Keketuohai - Burqin: Keketuohai National Geological Park

    Today head to Keketuohai National Geological Park for a visit. Honoured as the "Chinese Yosemite", it features beautiful natural scenery and was listed as a UNESCO World Geopark in 2017. There are four main scenic areas: Cocoa Surrey Lake, Irene Wood Lake, Irtysh Grand Canyon, Earthquake Museum.

    Then drive to Burqin for dinner and overnight.

    4

    Burqin - Kanas: Kanas Lake

    After breakfast at hotel, head to Kanas Lake. First arrive in the entrance of Kanas lake – Jiadengyu. Then take 1-hour shuttle bus around the lake area. After the shuttle bus tour, hiking along the kanas River and take a boat if you like(optional). Or visit watch tower to see the whole view of the Kanas Lake area, which takes around 3-4 hours.

    Then drive to Jiadengyu for dinner and overnight.

    Jiadengyu - Hemu: Hemu village

    Get up early and enjoy the sunrise of Kanas. Then head to Hemu village, located at the south bank of the Kanas Lake, where the local Tuwa people live in. Hemu is a rather primitive village, with all wooden houses here. The most famous is the amazing scenery in autumn.

    Hemu - Burqin: Five-colored Bay

    Drive back to Burqin. Stop at the Five-colored Bay for a short visit.

    Burqin - Urumqi：Urho Ghost City

    Morning, drive along the Gurbantunggut Desert to the Urho Ghost City. The strange shapes of the various strange landscapes were created by strong wind and erosion. Then drive through Karamay city and to Urumqi.
