Qujing

Located in eastern Yunnan Province, Qujing City (曲靖市) is one of Yunnan’s major regional cities and an important gateway between Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi. Known for its karst mountains, rivers, waterfalls, grasslands, rapeseed flower fields, and multi-ethnic culture, Qujing offers a less-crowded travel experience compared with Dali or Lijiang. Huize Ancient Town (会泽古城): Huize preserves historic streets, traditional architecture, guild halls, and cultural heritage connected with Yunnan’s old copper trade. It is one of the best places in Qujing to experience local history and traditional urban culture.
