    Chengde, formerly known as Rehe, is a historic city in Hebei Province, China. A regional central city, it connects Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia, with an area of 39,519 square kilometers. Located just 225 km from Beijing, it offers an easy and convenient getaway for travelers. Chengde is also recognized as one of China’s national historical and cultural cities and approved as an international tourism city by the Hebei provincial government.
