Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Sightseeing and Activities:
Accommodation: Beijing
Meals: No meals

Upon your arrival, our guide will pick you up from airport and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable and clean car. Then have a good rest.

Day 2 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Kung Fu Show
Accommodation: Beijing

Tiananmen Square in Beijing

We will start the tour form the center of the city – Tiananmen Square. Go north through the square and you will see the Forbidden City. As the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure in the world, it has more than 8,000 pavilions and thousands of historic treasures. Then enjoy the a la carte lunch.

In the afternoon, head to visit the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties – the Temple of Heaven. Then have a fantastic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre in the evening.

Day 3 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Badaling Great Wall, the Sacred Way

Badaling Great Wall in Beijing

Get up early and have a big breakfast at hotel because there is no good restaurants for lunch during the journey.  Drive to visit Badaling Great Wall. After that, drop by a jade factory before heading for the Sacred Way. See the grand stone archway, several animals’ sculptures, and stone pavilions while you are marching along this 4-mile stone path. See the appearance of Bird’s Nest on the way to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian

Sightseeing and Activities: Summer Palace, Beijing hutong

Visit the Summer Palace in the morning, which used to be the summer resort for royal families and emperors. Have a short stay at a nearby pearl store. Then have an a la carte lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Beijing hutong alleys by riding rickshaw, narrow but original. Then fly to city of Xian. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 Xian

Sightseeing and Activities: Terracotta Warriors, Xian Museum, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show

Terracotta Army, Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xian

Today visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Afterwards, visit a pottery-making factory. Have a special and authentic home-cooked a la carte lunch at a local family.

After that, visit the Xian Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. At night, enjoy the famous Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day 6 Xian

Sightseeing and Activities: the City Wall, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, the Great Mosque

Today visit the City Wall. And then move on to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China and one of the largest with the large storage of cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.

Have a la carte lunch at a decent local restaurant, then continue to visit the Great Mosque. Later taste some local snacks on the Muslim Street.

Day 7 Xian – Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Reed Flute Cave
Accommodation: Guilin

In the morning, take a flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to visit the fairy Reed Flute Cave which is mainly made up of stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars.

Day 8 Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Li River cruise, visiting local family, Elephant Trunk Hill
Accommodation: Guilin
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

The highlights in Guilin tour is Li River cruise, which usually refers to the most splendid part from Guilin to Yangshuo. There are many famous spots that Li River boasts you will meet during the journey. Have a simple lunch on the cruise, so you’d better have a big breakfast. After arrived Yangsuo, we will visit a local family in the countryside and then back to Guilin. Visit Elephant Trunk Hill and go back to hotel for resting.

Day 9 Guilin – Guangzhou – Siem Reap

In the morning, take the bullet train to Guangzhou and then be transferred by the tour guide to Guangzhou airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Upon your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 10 Siem Reap

Sightseeing and Activities: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate, Bayon temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm and the Bakheng Temple, Apsara Dinner Show
Accommodation: Siem Reap
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Get up early and have a Tuk Tuk ride to visit the Angkor Wat – the largest Khmer temple and excellent example of Angkorian art. Enjoy the most beautiful times of sunrise here.

In the afternoon, continue the tour to the national treasure of Cambodia – the bas-reliefs in Angkor Wat. Then move on to Angkor Thom’s imposing South Gate topped with the four serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Then explore Bayon temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm and the Bakheng Temple.

In the evening, enjoy the Apsara Dinner Show at the Angkor Village Resort.

Day 11 Siem Reap

Sightseeing and Activities: Preah Khan, Banteay Srei Temple, Banteay Samre, Rolous Group, Orphanage school
Accommodation: Siem Reap
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, head to visit one of Angkor’s largest temples – Preah Khan (Sacred Sword) built in the 12th century. Then we will drive to the birthplace of classical Khmer architecture – Banteay Srei Temple. Next we will explore the magnificent Banteay Samre. On the way, stop to see how farmers making Palm sugur.

In the afternoon, drive back to Rolous Group – the ancient capital of King Indravarman and the birthplace of classical Khmer art and architecture. The last stop is Orphanage school nearby.

Day 12 Siem Reap Departure

In the morning, drive out of the city to Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat trip to explore the tranquil life of the floating village.

Then transferred to the airport for your next destination. Service ends.
