Jinhua Climate

Jinhua belongs to humid subtropical climate, with four distinctive seasons. It is characterized by hot, humid summers and chilly, cloudy and drier winters (with occasional snow). The mean annual temperature is about 17 °C, with monthly daily averages ranging from 5.2 °C in January to 29.0 °C in July. The city receives an average annual rainfall of 1,450 millimeters and is affected by the plum rains of the Asian monsoon in June, during this period, its average relative humidity also peaks.

Average temperature in Jinhua changes differently recent years, and it develops in a growing trend after the 80s. Annual rainfall in Jinhua is relatively abundant, but with variability in season regions. Because of its geography, the three rivers and one basin, climate in Jinhua is not so dry and relatively moderate.
