Located at northern Chuanzhusi Town of Songpan, Qizanggou is an untouched fairyland with spectacular natural landscape on earth. Near Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong national park, Qizanggou is still one of the most ideal choices, especially for those enthusiastic hikers. There are prosperous grass and trees, huge mountains, gurgling streams, but few people. The best time for trekking is from July to October.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu Arrival

Upon your arrival, our guide will pick you up from airport or bus station and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable and clean car. Then have a good rest.
Day 2: Chengdu – Chuanzhusi – Kakagoukou
Sightseeing and Activities: Diexi Lake
Accommodation: Kakagoukou campsite
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, drive about 6 hours from Chengdu to Songpan. Enjoy the views and landscapes along the way. Have a short stop by the Diexi Lake, a landslide dam-created lake formed in the 1933 Diexi earth quake. Then head for Kakagoukou campsite directly to meet our team. Camping for overnight.
Day 3: Kakagoukou – Long Lake

Start trekking 16km in Qizang Valley from Kakagoukou to Long Lake. Then arrive at the campsite near to Long Lake. It is a relatively easy trekking due to the good condition of path. Just embrace the nature with bule sky, white clouds, grrassland…
Day 4: Long Lake – Grass Lake

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Get up early and appreciate the natural landscapes around Long Lake. Then start trekking from Long Lake to Grass Lake. It is about 10km. Half an hour later, climb the Qizanggou Ya Kou, which will take about two hours to climb over. Then trekkking to the Grass Lake campsite for overnight.
Day 5: Grass Lake – Hongxing Lake – Fish Lake

Accommodation: Fish Lake campsite
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Get up early and appreciate the beautiful landscapes around Grass Lake. Then trekking 2 hours to reach Hongxing Rock Pass. After lunch, trekking about 1 hour to Hongxing Lake, a holy lake for locals. It has the most beautiful landscapes and cannot be missed. Don’t burst out and touch the lake water. In the afternoon, backtrack to Grass Lake and then trek to Fish Lake campsite for overnight.
Day 6: Fish Lake – Awenggou Goukou – Songpan
Sightseeing and Activities: trekking, Colorful Beach, Colorful Forest, Chuanzhusi Temple
Accommodation: Songpan
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, trek from Fish Lake to Aengoou Goukou. Visit the Colorful Beach and Colorful Forest along the road. You will meet our private car at Awenggou Goukou, and be transferred to Chuanzhusi Temple with many Bodhisattva statues of clay sculpture and copper casting. Just enjoy the Tibetan Buddhist culture. Then back to Songpan.
Day 7: Songpan – Chengdu

Drive about 6 hours back to Chengdu.
Day 8: Chengdu Departure
