6 Days Classic Zhangjiajie & Fenghuang Tour with Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

Breakfast at the hotel, and head to Zhangjiajie national forest park. Take the park green bus get to Bailong elevator station, then ascend the Yuanjiajie Mountain (Bailong Lift Sightseeing Terrace) by the Bailong Elevator - a glass elevator built into the side of the mountain. On the summit, you will hike 2.5 hours to discover the Pillar of the Southern sky. It was used to inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the Blockbuster movie, Avatar. Proceed to the platform or Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the NO. 1 Bridge under Heaven.

Lunch at the local restaurant. Then take a green bus get to Tianzi mountain, visit imperial brush, Xihai stone forest, fairy lady present flowers. Then finish your trip by tianzi cable car, get back to hotel.

Check out hotel in the morning, proceed to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park again to explore the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi). This charming valley is most likely to bring you into the Pandora's wonderland of the movie Avatar. Have a leisure hiking about 2.5 hours along the stream. Just relax yourself with the beautiful mountain, fresh air, and pure water. Later take cable car up and down to visit Huangshi village, which is 1080m above the sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. A saying goes “He who does not reach Huangshi Village does not pay a true visit to Zhangjiajie.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then travel to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Walk along the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This bridge is not only the highest, but also the longest glass bridge in the world. It is not for the faint-hearted. The Glass Bridge is built between two mountains of Zhangjiajie Grand canyon, which is 375 meters long and 6 meters wide, with a height of 300 meters from bottoms. Upon decent, use an elevator to get to the bottom of the valley.

Then Hike about 2.5 hours through the Canyon and enjoy the beautiful, tranquil sceneries of breath-taking cliffs, lush forests, caves, colorful streams and rivers that surround you. The tour will finish by a boat ride. On the way back to hotel, visit an art gallery of sandstone painting to appreciate a new kind of painting style.

Proceed to Tianmen mountain cable car after breakfast, and take the world’s longest cable car get to the top of Tianmen Mountain, which is the highest mountain in zhangjiajie city. Have a good experience on the sky walk which is made of glass, also see the 99 turns road and 999 steps leading to the gate of the Tianmen. Then finish the trip in Zhangjiajie and transfer to Fenghuang city. Relax yourself in the bars in the evening time.

Today visit Ancient Fenghuang (Phoenix) City, which is located in Xiang Xi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The majority of the city's population is comprised of the Miao and Tujia minorities. It is known as the “most beautiful small city in China” and famous for surrounding mountains and rivers. Drive back to Zhangjiajei airport or drop off in Tongren airport.
