Local Featured Festivals in Zhengzhou
Zhengzhou Monthly Rose Festival(郑州月季花会)
Date: During flowering phase, from April to early May
Brief Introduction: Every year at this time, Zhengzhou will hold the Monthly Rose Festival. Not only the host unit will take out various kinds of minthly rose, and citizens will also take out the monthly roses cultivated by themselves. Since 1991, the Zhengzhou International Shaolin Martial Arts Festival has been successfully held for 12 times. Henan people uphold martial arts, Shaolin Temple Kung Fu is known throughout the world. In the spirit of "carry forward the Chinese martial arts, expand the opening to the outside world, promote the economic development", Zhengzhou holds the martial arts festival every two years.

Zhengzhou City God Temple Fair(郑州城隍庙会)
Date: Every year from the 1st day to 16th day of the 1st lunar month
