Beijing California County Golf Club
Designed with desert remediation and ecological conservation, Beijing California County Golf Club（北京加州水郡高尔夫俱乐部） is located on the west bank of Yongding River(永定河) in Beijing. It was built by Beijing Yonglong International Hotel Property Management Co., Ltd(北京永隆国际酒店物业管理有限公司). and Huaying Investment Co., Ltd(华斓投资公司) with an investment of one hundred billion. It represents the first golf link built in desert and valley in Beijing, the first member-only club in China operated in the Camp David (戴维营)business PR model, and one of the most distinctive golf courses in China.
The 27-hole course covers an area of 1,800 acres and has a total length of more than 11,000 yards. It consists of three different venues, A, B and C.
A field stretches back and forth in the woods. The designer’s delicate and fantastic design makes golfers challenge the golf strategies while enjoying the beautiful scenery!
In the B field, the complex woods are signals that you need to be alert of the danger under the beautiful scenery. You need to be careful about our choices when swinging and dropping so that you may enjoy the charm of playing golf.

In the C field, the designers keep what it is, which extended the weathered riverbed to the greens and fairways. The spectacular scenery shocked you a for it is the combination of nature and artificial work. The bunker group of the sand pits, the hidden deep grass pit, and the double-decker green woods make you feel the unique design which brings to you the beauty and shock of another realm of the golf course!
Introduction of the designer:
Zhou De（周德）, a Taiwanese, chief designer of Asia at Smax Golf Design and Planning Co., Ltd., is currently the general manager of the Beijing California County Golf Club（北京加州水郡高尔夫球会）.
In recent years, he have designed the Yinchuan Yellow River (wetland) golf course and the Beijing California County Golf Course in China. The design concept of protecting the nature and restoring the original style has been adopted. The comprehensive consideration of the geographical features, natural ecology and business planning of the stadium have been taken into consideration which integrates golf culture and art with ecological environment.
