Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Lijiang Arrival

Upon your arrival, met by tour guide and escorted to your hotel. Then explore this city on your own.

Day 2 Tiger Leaping Gorge

Sightseeing and Activities: Qiaotou Elementary School, Naxi Family Guesthouse
Accommodation:

Drive 2 hours from Lijiang to Qiaotou Town, enjoy the upper Yangtze River Valley on the way.

Start the hiking from Qiaotou Elementary School, arrive at Naxi Family Guesthouse in Zhongnuoyu Village(2 hours hiking) and have lunch there.

After lunch, continue the hiking to the 28 Zigzag Turns trail(2 hours), finish the trekking of the 28 turns, you will have a wonderful view of the Tiger Leaping Gorge and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Trek 1 hour to Yachaguo Village and stay in Tea Horse Hostel.

Day 3 Yachaguo-Bendiwan-Middle Gorge-Hetaoyuan

Sightseeing and Activities: Tiger Leaping Gorge, Bendiwan Village, Guanyin Temple, Guanyi Waterfall, Bamboo Forest,

Enjoy the sunrise view of the Tiger Leaping Gorge from the hotel.

After breakfast, trek 1.5 hours to Bendiwan Village and take a break at Halfway Hostel where you will have a nice view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Trek along the small trail on the cliff, visit Guanyin Temple and Guanyi Waterfall on the way(1.5 hours).

Arrive in the Bamboo Forest,trek down to Tins's Hostel in the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge(1 hour).

After lunch in Tin'as Hostel, continue the hiking down to the Middle Rapids(2 hour) which is the narrowest part of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Trek along the Yangtze River from the Middle Rapids to Hetaoyuan Village and stay at Saen's Hostel.

Day 4 Hetaoyuan-Lower Gorge-Daju-Jade Dragon Snow Mountain-Lijiang

Sightseeing and Activities: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yak Meadow, Baishuihe River, Blue Moon Valley, Ganhaizi Meadow

In the morning, do 2 hours easy walking along the road from Hetaoyuan to Xincun Village and enjoy the nice view of the Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Cross the Yangtze River from Daju Ferry, arrive at Daju Town for your lunch.

Transfer to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and take the chairlift to visit Yak Meadow.

Transfer back to Lijiang, visit Baishuihe River, the Blue Moon Valley and Ganhaizi Meadow on the way.

Day 5 Lijiang Departure

Explore this city at leisure until being transferred to the airport to take your flight. Service ends.
