Tianjin Longhai International Country Club

Set up in the year of 2006, Tianjin Longhai International Country Club(天津龙海国际高尔夫俱乐部) is a very young golf club of Tianjin. As a seaside golf course, it was invested by a Singaporean company and was designed by an English designer, Chris. Thus the 18-hole 72-par golf course is just like a Scottish style links.

Tianjin Longhai International Country Club, situated in Yingcheng Lake Area, Hangu District, Tianjin, is a luxury resort within the Zhongxin Ecological City. Planned as an 18-hole international standard course, the club boasts a clubhouse covering over 5,000 square meters, with ultra five-star decoration, scheduled to open in June 2008. This course is China’s first wetland golf course, covering approximately 780,000 square meters. Opened in September 2006, the club’s course is surrounded by Yingcheng Lake, echoing the design style of Scottish links golf courses along the coast. This Scottish-style course exudes a rugged charm, presenting an ancient ambiance, and has gained global recognition. Part of the 18 holes are built along the lake, allowing golfers of different skill levels to both test their abilities and enjoy the splendid lake and mountain scenery.

Facilities include a clubhouse, comprehensive professional college, ecological tourism projects, resorts, villas, apartments, and related auxiliary commercial facilities.

Location: Located within Yingcheng Lake Area, Hangu District, Tianjin. Take the Jing-Jin Expressway eastward, exit at the end, then proceed northward along Hannan Road, pass the Yonding River Estuary into the sea, and approximately 10 kilometers further north, the club is located across from Tianjin International Amusement Port.

Events hosted:

• From 1987 to 1997, six editions of the “Mayor’s Cup” Golf Friendship Tournament were held.
• From 1987 to 1998, the club hosted the Fifth National Amateur Golf Tournament, the First National Golf Club Cup Tournament, and the National Professional Golf Hole-by-Hole Elite Tournament.
• From 1998 to 2000, the club hosted the National Youth Golf Championship and summer camp activities.
• In August 1999, the Asian Professional Golf Tour and Tianjin Taida Open were held at the Warner Golf Club.
• From July 24 to 28, 2000, the “Vichy Cup” National Professional Golf Tournament was held at the Tianjin International Hot Spring Golf Club.
• From October 10 to 11, 2000, the Northern Region Club Cup Golf Friendship Tournament was held.
• From May 19 to 20, 2001, the “Tianshi Cup” Tianjin City Amateur Golf Ranking Tournament was held.
• From August 29 to 30, 2001, the National Youth Golf Championship was held at the Tianjin International Hot Spring Golf Club.
• From October 5 to 6, 2001, the “Vichy Cup” National Professional Golf Tournament was held at the Tianjin International Hot Spring Golf Club.
• On August 2, 2003, the Canon Cup Foreign Investment Enterprise Golf Invitation Tournament was held.
