Nietang Buddha in Lhasa
The Nietang Buddha (聂唐大佛) is the largest cliff sculpture in Tibet, located about 40 kilometers southwest of Lhasa (拉萨市). During his journey, the statue of Shakyamuni Buddha he was carrying reportedly spoke, saying that it wished to remain in the area.
