Why is Longzhu Pavilion So Special?

Longzhu Pavilion was first built during the Tang Dynasty, but was almost destroyed. The Longzhu Pavilion today is re-built in 1987. The pavilion’s height is 34.5 meters and altogether has 6 stories. The total construction area is 1,650 square meters. The pavilion belongs to the Qing Dynasty’s style.

Cultural Relic

The pavilion has large quantities concerning to porcelain treasures, such as underglaze red vases, Mingzheng Tong Guanyao giant dragon jar and unearthed official precious porcelain of Ming Dynasty and some historical information about the official kiln, offering an important and indispensable reference for the research of Jingdezhen kiln.

Internal Structure

Longzhu Pavilion adopts a special structure of building, we can only see four rooms, but there are seven rooms hiding. The pavilion is three stories high, and with a vast space.
