Aviation
There are two airports in Qingdao: Qingdao Liuting International Airport and Qingdao-Jiaodong International Airport. But Qingdao-Jiaodong International Airport is still under construction. It was started to establish in 2015, and is expected to finish in 2019.
Qingdao Liuting International Airport
Qingdao Liuting International Airport is situated on Liuting Street, Chengyang District, Qingdao city. It is 23 kilometers away from the city proper. The airport offers flights to any other city that has airport in China. For international flight, tourists can take plane here to Osaka-Kansai, Fukuoka and Nagoya, Tokyo, Okinawa, in Japan, Melbourne in Australia, Moscow in Russia, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Frankfurt in Germany, Incheon and Busan in South Korea, Don Muang in Thailand and Singapore.

Qingdao Railway Station belongs to beautiful Gothic style. It is near the Qingdao Landing Stage, and it only takes you 8 minutes’walk there. On getting out of the station, you could see seascape. It offers trains and high-speed trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jinan, Tanshan, Heze, Yantai, Weihai, Wuchang, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Dandong, Tonghua, etc. every day.
Qingdao Bei Railway Station

Qingdao Bei Railway Station was officially operated on January 10th. As a railway, subway (under construction) and the long-distance passenger transfer station, it is an important hub in the Qingdao traffic. High-speed trains and a few trains to Jinan, Beijing, etc. pass by North Railway Station. So far, there are trains to get to &leave Beijing, Shenyang, Changchun, Harbin, Dandong, Tonghua, Yanji, etc.
Marine
The city's passenger port is located at No. 6 Xinjiang Road, Shibei District. Currently, it services ships to Incheon, South Korea; Shimonoseki, Japan; and Shanghai.

Public Transport
Until 2012, Qingdao owns 5,283 large and medium-sized buses and Compressed Natural Gas buses. There are also 136 trolleybuses as well. All of the buses and trolleybuses can be accessed using the Qingdao Public Traffic IC Card, which uses radio frequencies so the card does not have to physically touch the scanner. The Public Transport Brand of 'Ri-Xin Bus' is also known in China.
There are a number of taxi companies in Qingdao including Yiqing Company, Zhongqing Company, Jiaoyun Company and, Huaqing Company. These companies would be able to offer you convenient taxi service.
Subway
Qingdao has invested a lot to build a wide and complete subway system. Metro Line 3 is the first line in function and opened on 16 December 2015. In the long term, the city plans to build eight subway lines in downtown and some suburban districts, which account for 231.5 km.
