Xiuhu Lake Park in Yiwu

Xiuhu Lake Park

Xiuhu Lake Park is in the southwest of Yiwu and occupies 7.2 hectares. Covering an area of 71,643 sq.m. Xiuhu Lake Park was created alongside Xiuhu Lake in 2003 and is located in the center of Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province.

Xiuhu Lake, also known as Xiuchuan Lake, boasted eight scenes featuring a sunset, an evening bell, flower and willow, a painted pleasure boat, a lake pavilion, a bridge, a moon-falling and flying gulls. The buildings in the park are in the style of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, and aim to representing the aesthetic feelings of the eight views. The well-preserved Da’an Temple Pagoda, standing on the bank of the lake, was built in 1110 during the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
