Day 1 Shanghai Arrival

Upon your arrival, tour guide will pick you up from airport and then transfer you to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Shanghai Museum, Former French Concession, Shanghai World Financial Center, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Huangpu River cruise
Accommodation: Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, we will first visit Shanghai Museum. It is the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art with more than 120,000 precious and rare works of art. Then, walk through the Former French Concession which was once designated for the French. The tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions in the area still retain an air of the “Paris of the East”.

Later, drive to visit Shanghai World Financial Center to have a panoramic view of the whole Shanghai and Huangpu River area. After that, head to Nanjing Road and the Bund. In the evening, you can choose to take Huangpu River cruise to enjoy fantastic night view of Shanghai(optional).

Day 3: Shanghai – Suzhou

Today we will drive about 75 minutes to visit the famous Tongli Water Town. It is characterized by stone bridges and well preserved ancient architecture, including private gardens, temples and houses. You’ll visit the Tuisi Yuan, Pearl Pagoda, Triple Bridge, Ming and Qing Dynasty Street, etc.

Then drive another 30 minutes to visit Lingering Garden in Suzhou, one of the four most famous gardens in China, listed as World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. After that, we will visit the First Silk Factory to learn Chinese silk culture.

Then check in your hotel in Suzhou city.

Day 4: Suzhou – Hangzhou

Sightseeing and Activities: West Lake, Viewing Fish at flower Pond, Flying Peak, Lingyin Temple, Meijia Dock Longjing Tea Village, China National Tea Museum

Get up early to catch the high speed train to Hangzhou. Upon your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up from the railway station and start today’s sightseeing.

We will first visit the picturesque West Lake and have a cruise to enjoy the scenery of this famous tranquil lake. After the cruise, we will stroll on the famous Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, as well as the sites around, such as Viewing Fish at flower Pond.

Then we will move to Flying Peak and Lingyin Temple. It is one of the most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China, home to numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes.

After that, visit Meijia Dock Longjing Tea Village. Longjing tea is Hangzhou’s most famous products and one of China’s best teas. You can visit China National Tea Museum to learn Chinese Tea Culture.

Day 5: Hangzhou – Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Six Harmonies Pagoda
Accommodation: Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, visit Six Harmonies Pagoda, a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in 970 AD. Climbing onto the top, you could have a spectacular view of Qiantang River and surrounding hills.

Then, be free until your guide and driver escort you to take a high speed train to Shanghai.

Day 6: Shanghai Departure

Sightseeing and Activities: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, the Jade Buddha Temple

Today we will visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center , the first kind of exhibition center in China showcasing a city’s development. Then we will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple built in 1928. If you’re lucky, you can watch the monks serving a ceremony in a side room.

In the afternoon, transfer you to the airport for your flight. Service ends.
