13 Days Hunan and Guizhou Tour

After breakfast,transfer to Zhangjiajie ( about 4 hours driving), you will visit the Glass Bridge in the scenic area of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon which is located in Cili County,as well as 18km to Wulingyuan Scenic Area,50km to downtown Zhangjiajie City. Connecting two massive cliffs, Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was opened to tourists in Aug,2016, It is 1,247 feet long, and 20 feet wide, with nothing but glass between visitors and certain death 984 feet below. The bridge is the world's longest, as well as highest, glass-bottom bridge.

After visiting, transfer to Wuling District of Zhangjiajie City, Check in hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Parkwhich was founded in 1982 as the first national forest park in China. Take round trip cable cars to visit around the Yellow Stone Village in the morning.

After lunch, trek along the Golden Whip Stream,a crystal stream snakes in a over seven kilometers canyon in which you can get sight of lots of magnificent landmarks and have a spa in the crystal water in summer. After trekking about 3 hours, you will arrival at the site of Shuiraosimen, and take shuttle bus to entrance gate of Wulingyuan, check in hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Entrance Gate of Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and take an shuttle bus to arrive at the foot of Tianzishan Mountain. You will visit Tianzishan Mountain by cable car. As is the custom, every rock, crag and gully has been given a fanciful name.The main wonders includes He Long Park,the west-sea,etc. Then take shuttle bus about 40 minutes to Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot,and visit the Avatar Peak formerly known as 'South Sky Pillar' (or 'Heaven and Earth Pillar') officially had its name changed to 'Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, the World's No.1 Bridge, as well as Bailong Elevator. Transfer back to hotel.

After breakfast, take the 7.4km long cable way to the top of Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. See sub-primitive forests, Tianmen Temple and Tianmen Cave (Heaven Gateway), Tongtian Avenue (a way to Heaven), Tianmen Glass Walkway, Ghost-valley plank road, and Yunmeng Fairy Summit are the main wonders.

In the afternoon,transfer to visit Furong Ancient Town, located in Yongshun County, West Hunan Province, then continiu to drive to Fenghuang, also kown as the Phoenxi Town. After check in hotel ,enjoy night scene at Fenghuang Ancient Town.

Visit Fenghuang Old Town in the morning, Fenghuang Town is a historical and cultural old town. Rewi Alley, a famous Australia  writer, once described it as one of the most beautiful cities in China.The town maintains this traditional as part of its rich culture. Dragon boat racing in Fenghuang appeared in famous Chinese writer Shen Congwen’s Border Town to express the pride and wild nature amongst the unsophisticated common people. In Fenghuang you can go boating on the Tuo River, wander through the old streets, enjoy a wonderful trip to a Miao house, appreciate Miao dancing, and taste the delicious food of western Hunan Province.

After lunch, transfer to Zhaoxing, in Southeast Guizhou Province. Check into hotel for rest.

Drive to see the Yao Costumes, on the way, enjoy the beautiful rice fields scenery, enjoy the spectacular terraced fields in Tang’an, then lunch in Tang’an village.Visit Tang’an Dong Village. If physical condition is allowed, can have the hiking tour from Tang’an to Zhaoxing via nice looking rice terraces and Xiage village (about 4km, 2 hours and 20 minutes), if not, come back to Zhaoxing by car.Visit Zhaoxing Dong Village ( 5 old drum towers, wind and rain bridges) in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, drive to Jiabang, on the way, visit Basha Miao Village. Sightseeing and photographing Miao villages & rice terraces along the way to Jiabang. While arrival Jiabang, sightsee & sunset shooting the spectacular terrace fields in Jiabang.

After breakfast, drive to Visit Xijiang Miao Village in the morning.

After lunch, continue drive to Langde, you will visit Langde Miao Village then.

After breakfast, drive to Shidong for Sisters’ Meal Festival.

After the festival, drive to visit Zhenyuan Old Town.

Visit Qinglongdong Old Architectures( the largest well preserved old architecture complex in Guizhou , which was originally built in the Ming dynasty). Then, continue drive to Kaili, on the way, visit Feiyunya Old Architecture, visit Matang village(Gejia people-an unrecognized minority) with wax printing demonstration and festival dress for pictures.

Visit Minority Museum in Kaili. See indigenous paper making in Shiqiao Village. Lunch in Qingman village, after lunch, visit Qingman Miao Village(costume, weaving demonstration, Zhouxi style Miao). Take the high speed train to Guiyang in the late afternoon.

Enjoy your free time before be transferred to the airport for the flight to next station.
