Guangxi Planning Museum

Basic Information

• Location: The museum is located at 8 Songxiang Road, Liangqing District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (广西壮族自治区南宁市良庆区宋厢路8号).
• Opening Hours: It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays to Sundays, with the last entry at 4:00 p.m. It is closed on Mondays.

Exhibition Content

• First Floor: Features the Guangxi Overview Hall, Guangxi Planning Hall, and Science Popularization Experience Hall. The Guangxi Overview Hall showcases Guangxi’s organizational system from prehistoric times to the modern era, along with a small exhibition hall displaying the profiles of ethnic minorities in Guangxi. The Guangxi Planning Hall uses sound, light, electricity, and sand tables to showcase major regional and district planning projects in Guangxi. The Science Popularization Experience Hall offers interactive displays for visitors to engage with science firsthand.
• Second Floor: Includes the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Guangxi Agricultural Hall, which introduce the urban profiles, development histories, construction achievements, urban planning, and characteristics of 14 cities in Guangxi, including Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, and Wuzhou, as well as the agricultural development of the region.
• Third Floor: Houses the VIP Core Model Hall, Beauty of Guangxi Hall, and a cinema equipped with a 120-degree curved screen and advanced digital playback systems, showcasing Guangxi’s beautiful natural scenery and future prospects.

• Interactive Displays: The museum features numerous interactive exhibits, such as a city planner experience, electronic flip books, multi-touch tables, and city magic carpets, allowing visitors to actively participate and explore.
• Rich Media Presentations: Utilizes diverse exhibition methods, including panels, lightboxes, LCD displays, plasma screens, projectors, and back-projection, to vividly present Guangxi’s development.
• Comprehensive Coverage: The museum comprehensively showcases Guangxi’s economic and social development achievements, future plans, and urban and regional planning, serving as a one-stop platform for understanding Guangxi.
