Best Time to Visit

The best time to travel in Guiyang is in spring, summer and autumn, in particular, in the late August. In March and April, you can experience many traditional festivals of Miao minority. From April 30 to May 7, there is the Baiyun National Kites Festival. From June to August is the Hongfeng(red maple) lake tourism festival, lasting nearly 2 months. 2. The temperature in Guiyang is lower in the morning and evening, so it is necessary to bring a windproof coat. In winter, you should wear sweater and thick coat because of the wet and cold weather. 

3. Guiyang is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, although the temperature is not high, the ultraviolet is relatively strong, sunscreen measures must be done well. Sunscreen products like sun scream and hat are needed, especially at noon.

4. Guiyang scenic spots are mainly in the mountain area, please wear comfortable sports shoes, do not wear the shoes such as leather shoes and high heels, so as to prevent slipping.
