Changchun Film Festival长春电影节

Changchun Film Festival is the first film festival named after a city in China. Founded in 1992, it is national film festival approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television. This festival is held every two years. In 2018, it was held from September 1st to 8th. Its main activities are about the awards, trades and exhibitions of Chinese and foreign films with large-scale variety shows. Now it has formed a grand gathering of films, cultures, economy, trade, science and technology, and tourism.

Vasaloppet China 瓦萨滑雪节

The Vasaloppet Festival was originated in Sweden and was named after the Swedish King Gustav Vassa, who led the Swedish to overthrow the Danish rule. The festival has been held for more than 80 sessions since its establishment in 1922. In 2003, the Vasaloppet Festival was officially settled in the Jingyuetan National Scenic Area in Changchun. This festival is held in every January 4th.

China Changchun Summer International Beer Festival 长春国际啤酒节

Using “beer” as its name, and taking beer and food as its carrier, this festival is a carnival for leisure and summer. It not only satisfies people's desire for beer and food, but also promotes the summer culture and leisure life of people in Changchun. The success of the Changchun Summer International Beer Festival in China has made more and more Changchun people understand and fall in love with the Beer Festival. This festival is usually held in June or July, lasting about 15 days.

Changchun ChinaJoy Cosplay 长春动漫节

Changchun ChinaJoy Cosplay is the only professional exhibition of animation in Northeast China. Changchun ChinaJoy Cosplay takes the responsibility of prospering the Changchun animation industry and invigorating the city economy. China-Northeast Asia Expo东北亚博览会

China-Northeast Asia Expo is a large-scale international exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Jilin Provincial People’s Government. It aims to promote economic and trade exchanges and regional cooperation between China and Northeast Asian countries, building a long-term cooperation platform for mutual benefit, exchange and cooperation, and open competition between China and Northeast Asian countries. This expo is held in September every two years.

Changchun International Automobile Expo长春国际汽车博览会

Changchun International Automobile Expo is one of the top five automobile exhibitions and the only international automobile exhibition in China. With the goal of building a first-class automobile professional exhibition in China, this expo adheres to the combination of market-oriented operation and government leadership, highlights the characteristics of internationalization, specialization and informationization, displays new energy and new technologies, and makes itself a platform for trade, technology exchange, industry investment and cooperation of automobile between China and the world. This expo is held in July every year.

Changchun Agricultural and Food Fair Expo长春农博会

The Changchun Agricultural and Food Fair Expo has developed into the world's largest exhibition for agricultural science and technology. It presents the agricultural production materials, agricultural products, food, and etc. It is held in August every year.

Changchun Folk Art Fair 中国（长春）民间艺术博览会

Changchun Folk Art Fair aims to excavate the treasures of folk art, show the style of folk art, exchange folk art achievements, cultivate the folk art market, and make Changchun a famous city for folk art. In this expo visitors could see a variety of folk arts of the Northeast China. It is held in August every year.

Changchun World Sculpture Conference长春世界雕塑大会

The Changchun International Sculpture Conference is held every two years. The theme of each session is “Friendship, Peace, and Spring”. There are thousands of sculptures created by more than 300 sculptors from 200 countries. It is held in Changchun World Sculpture Park in September.
