8 Days Best China Golden Triangle Tour (Beijing-Xian-Shanghai)

Today, we will start to explore the historical city of Beijing. In the morning, you will be met by our guide, first we will reach the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Walk through the square and visit today’s highlight Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Walk to Jingshan Park, where gives a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City at the top of Coal Hill.

After lunch, drive to Houhai Lake, the marvelous place to discover the history of Beijing City and the endless charm. We will experience a unique Hutong tour by taking a rickshaw. Hutongs are a kind of ancient city alley or lane and are very typical in Beijing. Most of them were built during the three dynasties of Yuan, Ming and Qing. Today, the Hutong is a living museum of Beijing history showing the traditional lifestyle of Beijing people

We will transfer back to hotel after the tour.

You will be met by our guide at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Great Wall.

Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, which is popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival, you can choose to hike on the Great Wall, or take cable car up and roam around.

Drive back to Beijing city, while you can take a nap in the car. You will take a short stop at the Beijing Olympic Park to view its famous Bird's Nest and Water Cube from the outside.  There are the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games.

Back to the hotel after today’s tour. We would highly recommend you take a traditional Chinese foot massage, or have fun at Sanlitun Bar Street in the evening.

After breakfast at your hotel in Beijing, check out and meet your guide in the lobby. Begin your day with a visit to the beautiful Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China and a masterpiece of classical Chinese landscape design.

Explore the tranquil grounds of the Summer Palace, including Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill, elegant pavilions, bridges, and long corridors decorated with traditional paintings. Once a royal retreat for Qing Dynasty emperors, the palace is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a peaceful contrast to Beijing’s grand imperial architecture.

After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Beijing West Railway Station .

Board the high-speed bullet train from Beijing to Xi’an, a journey of approximately 5 hours. Sit back and enjoy the comfortable ride as you travel through the changing landscapes of northern and central China, from the capital region to the historic heartland of ancient dynasties.

Upon arrival at Xi'an North Station, you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in downtown Xi’an. The guide will assist with check-in procedures.

The evening is free for rest or optional exploration. You may take a short walk around the hotel area or enjoy local Shaanxi cuisine to experience the flavors of Xi’an, the ancient capital of China.

You will be met at the hotel lobby and start today’s tour for the Ancient city.

Drive to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. Then you will have a chance to visit pottery figurine factory, where you can learn how to make a pottery figurine.

Visit the Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. You could cycle or take sightseeing car on the wall. After that, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It’s the landmark building of Xian and symbol of China ancient capital and you will also have chance to watch the fountain show at the North Square of the Big Goose Pagoda.

Back to the hotel after the tour.

In the morning, enjoy free leisure time at your hotel in Xi'an to pack up and check out. This is a great opportunity to relax or take a short walk around the hotel area before departing for the next city.

After lunch, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and begin your transfer to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. On the way, visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, one of China's largest museums by floor space. The museum houses extensive archaeological findings and artifacts, providing deep insight into ancient Chinese culture, imperial history, and funerary practices. Explore the exhibits to learn about the remarkable engineering and artistry of ancient China.

After the museum visit, continue to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport for your flight to Shanghai, a bustling modern metropolis on China’s eastern coast. Upon arrival at Shanghai Pudong International Airport or Hongqiao Airport, your local guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Shanghai.

The evening is free for you to rest or explore the city on your own. You may stroll along the Bund to see the stunning skyline of Shanghai, enjoy local delicacies, or simply relax at the hotel after your journey.

Overnight in Shanghai.

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Modern city of China.

Fiest we will walk into the Shikumen, the old alley with old buildings, a blend of Western and Chinese traditional culture, where the local residents still live there. Enjoy orientation walk on the Bund which was a foreign trade center from the late 19th century. Then continue to visit the Yuyuan Garden, a traditional Chinese garden in Shanghai downtown.

In the afternoon, visit Jade Buddha Temple. which is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple built in 1928. If you’re lucky, you can watch the monks serving a ceremony in a side room. Then continue our trip to Shanghai Tower which is the city skyline and Shanghai tallest building, enjoy panoramic view of Shanghai city.

Back to the hotel after the tour, on the route you can plan for the night Acrobatic Show, especially the ERA show, which is one of the most popular evening entertainments in Shanghai.

After breakfast at your hotel in Shanghai, enjoy free leisure time depending on your flight schedule. This is your final day in China, allowing you to relax or take a short walk in the surrounding area of downtown Shanghai.

You may choose to do some last-minute shopping, purchase souvenirs, or simply enjoy a coffee while reflecting on your journey through Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai. If time permits, you can also take a final stroll near the Bund, enjoying the impressive contrast between historic colonial buildings and the modern skyline across the Huangpu River.

At the designated time, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to Shanghai Pudong International Airport or Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport according to your flight schedule.

Assistance will be provided for luggage handling and check-in procedures to ensure a smooth departure experience.
