This is the first Winter Olympic Games held in Chinese history. Beijing and Zhangjiakou are both host cities. It is also the third Olympic event held by China after Beijing Olympic Games and Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. Beijing will undertake all ice projects, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou will undertake all snow projects.

Itinerary:

Day 1：Arrive in Beijing

The local guide will pick you up at the airport with sincere greetings, then go to the hotel and have a good rest.

Da y2:  Beijing Tour (B L)

Tiananmen Square in Beijing

In the morning we will visit the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.

Afterwards, climb the top of Jingshan Park to have bird view of the Forbidden City.

Have lunch at the Old Beijing Noodles Restaurant.

In the afternoon we will visit the Temple of Heaven and explore the Qianmen intangible culture experience street.

Day 3:  Beijing Tour (BLD)

In the morning we will go the Beijing Zoo with cute Pandas and Lama Temple.

Lama Temple ( Yonghe Lamasery ) was built in the 33 Qing Kangxi year (1694) and it is now the largest and best-preserved Lamasery of Yellow Sect in Beijing.

Afternoon Hutong tour with rickshaw riding and traditional courtyard family visit, experience creative calligraphy & private dumpling cooking class with locals.

Day 4:  Beijing – Chongli Tour (B L D)

Mutianyu Great Wall in Beijing

In the morning we will do the hiking along the Mutianyu Great Wall, cable car and toboggan is optional.

Simple lunch at local restaurant by the Great Wall.

In the afternoon we will transfer from Beijing to Chongli, which drives about 3.5hours.

Upon arrival in Chongli, firstly have simple dinner and check in hotel.

Day 5:  Chongli Tour (B D)

After breakfast, full day enjoy skiing at Thaiwoo Ski Resort in Chongli – It is the largest comprehensive ski resort in China, and also the main venue of 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Lunch on own arrangement at the ski resort.

Dinner at local popular restaurant.

Day 6: Chongli – Beijing Exit (B)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Beijing Airport from Chongli for departure flight.
