Airway

Weifang Nanyuan Airport
Weifang Nanyuan Airport is located in Kuiwen District. It started to work in 1996, and it is only 7 miles far away from city proper. From September 20th, 2015, it was upgraded to an international airport, adding a direct flight to Incheon, Osaka. Up to October 27th, 2017, the airport has added domestic regular routes to 13 cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Changchun, Nanchang, etc. From November 11th, 2017, non-stop to Bangkok International flights was available, and this is the first Southeast Asia route opened by Weifang Nanyuan Airport.

Traffic Transfer
Weifang Nanyuan Airport is only 7 miles away from the city center so it is convenient for passengers to get to downtown. Taxi takes you more than 10 yuan to the city proper, and you could also take bus No.36 or No.39, which just costs you about 1.5 to 2 yuan.

Railway

Weifang Railway Station
It lies on No.1 Heping Road, Weicheng District, Weicheng city. The station was built in 1902. In 2007, on the basis of the original construction, taking butterfly kites as elements, the station got new image. Its shape of a butterfly about to fly brings visual impact and makes it the landmark building of Weifang. Weifang Railway Station is 210 miles away from Jinan Railway Station and 183 miles away from Qingdao Railway Station.

Weifang Highway Passenger Terminal
It lies on the Weifang Railway Station Square. There are more than 900 passenger vehicles which cover 130 coach lines serving customers from Shandong province as well as interprovincial passengers. Out of Weifang, there are over 20 long-distance bus lines to other places like Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Xi’an, Shijiazhuang, etc. 30 coach lines are available to Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, etc. inside the province.
