Entertainment and Nightlife, as an indispensable part of modern cities, reflects the degree of modernization, living habits, economic development and so on in one aspect. China’s nightlife is enjoyable and wild just as anywhere else in the world. Night Markets

Night markets are the typical representatives of nightlife, most of which offer snacks, souvenirs, and are often crowded with people. Every city has its own nightlife, but almost every one has its featured night markets. All kinds of night markets scatter around China and feature different styles. Night market and snack street are the best places for tourists to taste local delicious snacks. The top night markets in China are Guijie Street in Beijing, Muslim Quarter (Huimin Street) in Xi'an, Confucius Temple in Nanjing, Hefang Street in Hangzhou, etc.

China has a robust and popular tea culture with the Chinese tea gaining reputation around the world. Laoshe Teahouse in Beijing has received many Chinese and foreign celebrities, enjoying a high reputation. Chinese tea houses have different features and styles. Some are traditional with Chinese folk culture and some are modern with a romantic atmosphere. While drinking tea, you can enjoy many traditional performances, such as acrobatics, cross talk, Beijing Opera and magic.

Bars and Clubs

In the big cities of China, numerous large and small bars are distributed all over the corner. When the night comes, these bright neon lights and the fierce or lyrical songs coming from the bars are all calling people who love bar culture. Sanlitun is the original bar street in Beijing and foreigners have become regular guests in Sanlitun. Shichahai bar street is the most artistic bar gathering place in Beijing, mainly distributed in lotus market, Qianhai area, Yindian bridge and Houhai area. Chengdu, the “sleepless city”, has made pubs & bars the essential part of its life. Jiuyanqiao bar street is the most famous nightlife area.

KTV

KTV is one of the most popular night entertainment in China, especially among young people. It is the one in which you do not have to be musically gifted to enjoy. China’s KTV, also known as karaoke television, also offer a wide variety of famous English songs and you'll have a chance to sing and dance to whatever song you’d like to hear. Inside the place, you and your friends will have a private room where you will order a lot of food and drinks, but most of all, to have a great time and enjoy this kind of relax.

Movies

In major cities in China, there are modern cinemas with lots of movies, and with popcorn and soda, all you need to go out for an evening. Hollywood movies are also be shown here.
