Beijing Grand Canal Golf Club(北京大运河高尔夫俱乐部) is a semi-private golf course located in Tongzhou, China. This Beijing golf course consists of four Par 3’s, 10 Par 4’s and four Par 5’s and plays to a maximum distance of 6522 yards over 18 holes. A single set of men’s tees can make the course a challenge for less experienced players. Located along the famous Grand Canal of Tongzhou District, Beijing Grand Canal Golf Club was designed by Peter Thomson and features an international standard 18-hole 72-par course of 6,732 yards. Although the head drop of the highest point and lowest point of this Beijing golf beauty is very small and the slope is gentle, Thomson made use of the natural trees and lake to increase difficulty. The clubhouse is a replica of the Temple of Heaven and features indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pools, chess and card rooms, a massage room, conference rooms and banquet halls, all the shit that many China golf courses have.
