Arrival at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

• Meet & Greet: Upon arrival at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, our tour guide will meet you at the airport exit. You’ll then be escorted to your hotel in downtown Guangzhou, where you can relax and freshen up after your journey.

Leisure Time

• Optional Exploration: If you arrive early, feel free to take a short walk around the hotel to get familiar with the area. You can stroll around Beijing Road or visit Huacheng Square to enjoy the bustling city atmosphere. Alternatively, take the opportunity to rest and adjust to the local time zone.
• Meals: No meals are included today, but we can recommend nearby restaurants for you to explore.

Accommodation: Stay overnight in Guangzhou.

Chen Clan Ancestral Hall

• Architectural Masterpiece: Start your day by visiting the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, which showcases exquisite Lingnan architecture. This hall is the largest and best-preserved example of traditional architecture in the region, with stunning stone carvings, woodwork, and ceramic sculptures. The hall also houses the Guangdong Folk Art Museum.

Yuexiu Park and Five Rams Sculpture

• Cultural Landmark: Visit Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou's most iconic park, home to the famous Five Rams Sculpture. Learn about the legend that inspired Guangzhou’s nickname, the "City of Rams."
• Zhenhai Tower: If you wish, ascend the Zhenhai Tower, which offers a panoramic view of Baiyun Mountain and Pearl River (optional, self-pay).

Nanyue King Mausoleum Museum

• Historical Exploration: Visit the Nanyue King Mausoleum Museum, which houses the tomb of the second king of the Nanyue Kingdom. This 2,000-year-old tomb is one of the most well-preserved in the region and contains priceless artifacts like the jade burial garment.

Beijing Road & Pearl River

• Explore Ancient Streets: Stroll along Beijing Road, which dates back over 2,000 years. Marvel at the layers of ancient roadways visible beneath glass panels.
• Optional Pearl River Cruise: In the evening, enjoy a Pearl River Night Cruise for spectacular views of Canton Tower and the city's skyline reflected on the river.

Travel to Foshan (1-hour drive)

• Morning: After breakfast, travel to Foshan, the birthplace of Bruce Lee and Wing Chun Kung Fu. Foshan is famous for its traditional Lingnan culture, including martial arts, ceramics, opera, and lion dancing.

Nanfeng Ancient Kiln

• Living Fossil of Ceramics: Visit the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln in Shiwan Town, an over 500-year-old dragon kiln. It is the oldest wood-fired kiln still in operation and is recognized as a living fossil of ceramics. Learn about the ceramic-making process and explore the kiln’s fascinating history.

Foshan Ancestors' Temple

• Martial Arts Hub: Visit the Foshan Ancestors’ Temple, a Taoist temple that also serves as a museum of martial arts. The temple is dedicated to famous Kung Fu masters like Wong Fei Hung, Yip Man, and Bruce Lee. Witness the Lion Dance performance, a Guangdong folk tradition (optional).

Lingnan Tiandi

Travel to Kaiping (2-hour drive)

• Kaiping Diaolou: Journey to Kaiping, known for its Diaolou (defensive watchtowers) and UNESCO World Heritage Site status. These towers were built by overseas Chinese and blend Western and Chinese architectural styles.

Zili Village

• Exploring the Diaolou: In Zili Village, explore Mingshi Tower, a Diaolou made famous by the movie Let the Bullets Fly. Step inside these towers to learn about the history of the overseas Chinese who built them and the defensive strategies they employed.

Li Garden

• Overseas Chinese Garden: Visit Li Garden, built by Xie Wei Li, an overseas Chinese. The garden is a beautiful blend of classical Chinese gardens and Western villa architecture. Take in the beautiful landscapes, bridges, pavilions, and peaceful surroundings.

Shenzhen Museum

• Shenzhen’s History: Visit the Shenzhen Museum to learn about the city’s rapid growth and transformation from a small fishing village into a global metropolis. Explore exhibitions on local culture and economic development.

Shenzhen’s Skyscrapers

• Modern Architecture: Visit Shenzhen’s iconic skyscrapers, including the Ping’an Financial Center (second tallest in China), the KK100, and the Diwang Building. Ascend to the observation deck for breathtaking views of the city and Hong Kong.

Splendid China Folk Village

• Miniature Scenic Wonders: Visit Splendid China Folk Village, where you can see miniature models of famous Chinese landmarks, such as the Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors, and experience the cultures of China’s 56 ethnic groups.

Shenzhen Bay Park

Departure

• Transfer to Airport or Train Station: After breakfast, your guide will escort you to Shenzhen’s airport or train station for your departure. This marks the end of your 6 Days Guangdong Tour.
