At 08:30 am, your professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Wuyishan and drive approximately one hour to the Wuyishan Biodiversity Conservation Zone, a nationally protected ecological reserve recognized for its exceptional biodiversity and scientific research value.

Your first stop is the scenic Taoyuanyu Scenic Area, a pristine forest region characterized by ancient trees, rich vegetation layers, and crystal-clear mountain air. As you walk along shaded forest trails, you will encounter a wide variety of subtropical plant species and gain insight into the reserve’s ecological importance. The area is known for its rare plant specimens and abundant insect diversity, making it an excellent location for ecological observation and photography.

Continue to visit Sangang, a core research and conservation area within the reserve, followed by the informative Nature Museum, where you can see well-preserved specimens of plants, insects, and wildlife native to the Wuyi Mountains. After lunch, proceed to Huanggang Mountain, the highest peak in the Wuyi Mountain Range, standing at 2,158 meters above sea level. The scenic drive and gradual ascent offer spectacular views of dense forests, layered mountain ridges, and rolling green landscapes.

Upon reaching the summit area, take in the magnificent panoramic views stretching across Fujian and neighboring Jiangxi Province.
