This 13-day Lhasa to Kathmandu motorcycle expedition is a true cross-Himalayan adventure combining Tibet’s cultural heartlands, Everest Base Camp, the remote western Tibetan plateau, Mt. Kailash, Lake Manasarovar, and the mystical Guge Kingdom before descending into Nepal.
Starting from Lhasa (拉萨), you ride across the central Tibetan plateau through Shigatse, Gyantse, and Everest Base Camp, then continue west into the wild Ngari region—one of the most remote and spiritually significant areas in the Himalayas. The journey then reaches its climax at Mt. Kailash (冈仁波齐) and Lake Manasarovar (玛旁雍错), before exploring ancient ruins and caves in Zanda (札达 / Guge Kingdom area), and finally descending through Gyirong border to Kathmandu (加德满都).
This route is designed for riders seeking high-altitude adventure, sacred landscapes, and extreme Himalayan diversity—from glaciers and 8,000m peaks to desert valleys and sacred lakes.
