Zhoucheng Bai Ethnic Village is particularly famous for Bai tie-dye, a traditional craft that uses hand stitching, folding, binding and natural indigo dye to create distinctive blue-and-white patterns. Guests may observe local artisans at work and produce a small handmade piece as a personal souvenir.

At approximately 11:10, continue by private vehicle to Xizhou Ancient Town. Arrive at around 11:30 and explore the historic streets, traditional Bai architecture and local market atmosphere.

Visit the Yan Family Courtyard, one of the best-preserved examples of Bai residential architecture in the area. Its carved wooden doors, painted walls and interconnected courtyards illustrate the artistic style and former prosperity of prominent Bai merchant families.

Enjoy lunch in Xizhou Ancient Town and taste local specialities such as Xizhou Baba, a traditional baked flatbread available with savoury or sweet fillings.

At approximately 13:30, depart from Xizhou Ancient Town and travel north by private vehicle to Lijiang. The journey normally takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes, although traffic may be heavier during weekends, national holidays and peak tourism periods.

Arrive in Lijiang at approximately 16:30 and complete the hotel check-in. After a short rest, begin an evening walking tour through Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stone-paved lanes, canals, bridges and traditional Naxi architecture.

Visit Sifang Square and the Large Waterwheel, two of the most recognisable landmarks in the old town. Continue through the illuminated streets, where traditional houses have been converted into cafés, restaurants, handicraft shops and small boutique hotels.

Enjoy dinner in Lijiang Ancient Town before returning to the hotel.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf and Scenic Area

Golf Course: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club
Driving Distance: Lijiang Ancient Town to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club, approximately 26 kilometres
    Driving Time: Approximately 35 minutes
    Golf: 18 holes
Main Attractions: Baishui River, Blue Moon Valley, Spruce Meadow and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Accommodation: Boutique hotel in Lijiang Ancient Town or Shuhe Ancient Town

After an early breakfast, depart from the hotel at approximately 07:30 and travel toward Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club.

Arrive at the club at approximately 08:05 and complete the golf registration, caddie arrangements and warm-up. Because the course is located at an elevation of more than 3,000 metres, the warm-up should remain light and controlled.

Begin the 18-hole round at approximately 08:30. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club offers one of the most dramatic golf settings in China, with snow-covered mountain peaks, alpine forests and wide highland views surrounding the fairways.

The thin air at this elevation causes golf balls to travel farther than they normally would at sea level. Players should adjust club selection accordingly while also reducing unnecessary physical exertion. Regular hydration, slower walking and adequate rest between shots are strongly recommended.

The course combines long fairways, natural elevation changes, strategic bunkers and panoramic views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Weather conditions may change quickly, so golfers should prepare for strong sunlight, cooler temperatures and sudden mountain winds.

The round is expected to finish at approximately 13:00. Enjoy lunch at the golf clubhouse and rest briefly before continuing into the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area at around 14:30.

Visit the Baishui River and Blue Moon Valley, where mineral-rich water flows through a series of turquoise pools beneath the mountain. The striking blue water, white river terraces and snowy peaks create one of the most photographed landscapes near Lijiang.

At approximately 16:00, take the Spruce Meadow Cable Car to Spruce Meadow, an alpine grassland surrounded by dense forest. From the meadow, enjoy distant views of the main peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Return to Lijiang Ancient Town in the early evening. The remainder of the evening is free for rest, independent dining or a final walk through the old town.
