After breakfast, begin the day at Sun Island Scenic Resort (太阳岛风景区), the venue of the International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. Walk through a 60,000-square-meter winter fairyland filled with massive snow sculptures, from landscapes to famous characters. Next, visit Siberian Tiger Park (东北虎林园), the world’s largest breeding center for endangered Siberian Tigers (东北虎). As you stroll along the cobblestone street, you can admire century-old façades, browse boutique shops, and experience the unique blend of Chinese and Russian culture that defines Harbin.

Rise early this morning for one of Northeast China’s most magical winter experiences at Wusong Island (雾凇岛), widely regarded as the best place in China to witness the spectacular natural phenomenon known as rime ice. Located along the banks of the Songhua River, the island's unique climate creates ideal conditions for delicate ice crystals to form on tree branches, transforming the landscape into a fairy-tale world of silver-white forests.

Arriving before sunrise, watch as the first golden rays illuminate the frozen countryside. Mist rises gently from the river while frost-covered trees shimmer in shades of white and silver. Walk along peaceful snow-covered paths and enjoy excellent opportunities for photography as the enchanting winter scenery gradually reveals itself under the morning light.

After exploring Wusong Island, continue to the nearby Songhua River (松花江) waterfront. Begin the morning at Mukden Palace (沈阳故宫 / Shenyang Imperial Palace), a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “miniature Forbidden City.” Built during the early Qing Dynasty, it served as the imperial palace before the Qing court moved to Beijing. Wander through exquisitely preserved halls, pavilions, and courtyards, marveling at traditional Manchu architectural details and historical artifacts.

Next, visit Marshal Zhang Mansion (张氏帅府), the former residence of Marshal Zhang Zuolin and his son Zhang Xueliang. Begin your exploration at the Golden Pebble Beach Geological Park (金石滩地质公园). Follow the coastal boardwalks and admire dramatic rock formations sculpted by millions of years of wind and wave erosion. Many of these natural stone formations resemble animals and famous figures, including elephants, tigers, turtles, dinosaurs, and even a rock said to resemble the profile of Beethoven. Stretching along dramatic cliffs overlooking the Yellow Sea, this route offers breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline, rocky coves, forested hillsides, and the endless ocean horizon. The trail is considered one of the most picturesque sections of Binhai Road and is ideal for nature lovers and photographers.

After breakfast, visit Tiger Beach Ocean Park (老虎滩海洋公园), one of China’s largest and most renowned marine theme parks. Covering more than one million square meters of coastline, the park combines marine life exhibitions, aquariums, wildlife shows, and ocean-themed attractions.

Begin at the Coral Hall (珊瑚馆), China's largest coral aquarium, where colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and fascinating marine ecosystems create an underwater wonderland. Continue to the popular Polar Aquarium (极地馆), home to beluga whales, dolphins, walruses, penguins, polar bears, and other Arctic animals. Enjoy entertaining marine animal performances and educational exhibits highlighting life in polar regions.

Next, walk through the underwater tunnels where sharks, rays, and exotic fish swim overhead, providing an immersive ocean experience. Continue to Marine Mammal World (海兽馆) and Bird Forest (鸟语林), where you can observe sea lions, seals, flamingos, black swans, cranes, hornbills, and many other bird species.
