5 Days Lijiang-Meili Snow Mountain and Yubeng Hiking Group Tour (Chinese-speaking Guide/Daily Departure)

Early morning optional viewing of the legendary sunrise over Meili Snow Mountain (梅里雪山日照金山) from Feilai Temple (飞来寺) viewpoint. This is one of the most iconic alpine sunrise experiences in China, with the snow peaks gradually turning golden.

After breakfast, drive down to Ninong Village (尼农村), the official starting point of the Yubeng trekking route. Begin hiking through the spectacular Ninong Grand Canyon (尼农大峡谷), a deep river-carved valley surrounded by cliffs, waterfalls, and dense forest.

The trek covers approximately 15 km and takes around 5 hours. Along the way, follow river trails and suspension paths surrounded by untouched wilderness. After exiting the canyon, reach Lower Yubeng Village (下雨崩村) and continue onward to Upper Yubeng Village (上雨崩村).

Arrive in the remote mountain settlement of Yubeng and check into a local trekking lodge. The village is surrounded by snow peaks and accessible only on foot or horseback, offering a true off-grid experience.

飞来寺—尼农村—徒步尼农大峡谷进雨崩—上雨崩:徒步尼农约15公里  约5小时  最高海拔约3200米

清晨7:30左右前往飞来寺，天气允许情况下观日照金山，这里是梅里雪山最佳观景台之一，这里视线低，几乎没有遮挡，距离雪山的距离也很近，在这里观景有种雪山扑面而来的震撼，梅里十三峰像是千簇万簇蓄势待发的利箭，巍峨傲然，气势非凡。后沿着金沙江河床，乘车1小时左右，来到徒步的起点尼农村，这里雪山脚下的原始森林和大峡谷，雨崩流出的神瀑河溪水一路向下，穿越整个尼农大峡谷，沿途的风景如画，令人目不暇接，徒步大约5小时左右到达下雨崩，然后继续前往上雨崩，到达酒店办理入住，结束我们一天的行程。

Today is the first major trekking challenge of the journey: the hike to Ice Lake (冰湖).

Depart from Upper Yubeng Village (上雨崩村) in the morning and enter dense primitive forest trails filled with moss, rhododendrons, and alpine vegetation. Continue uphill to reach Xiaonong Base Camp (笑农大本营), once used by international mountaineering expeditions attempting Kawagebo Peak (卡瓦格博峰).

After a short rest, continue ascending toward Ice Lake (冰湖) at approximately 3,900 meters. The final approach opens into a dramatic glacial basin surrounded by steep ice walls and towering snow peaks.

Spend time enjoying panoramic glacier views and high-altitude silence before returning along the same route back to Upper Yubeng Village (上雨崩村).

Arrive in the village by late afternoon and rest after a full-day trek.

上雨崩-徒步冰湖-上雨崩:徒步冰湖约14公里  约7小时  最高海拔约3900米

早上8:30，我们从上雨崩出发，一路徒步到达冰湖。我们会穿过村口的沙棘林，进入原始森林，而后继续前行。途中我们会到达笑农大本营，这里原是中日联合登山队攀登卡瓦格博峰的营地。午餐补充体力后，继续出发抵达冰湖，而后原路返回到上雨崩。

After breakfast, begin today’s trek from Upper Yubeng Village (上雨崩村) toward one of the most spiritually significant sites in the region: the Sacred Waterfall (神瀑).

The route first crosses the Yubeng River (雨崩河) and gradually ascends through untouched alpine forest. The trail is quiet and pristine, passing through dense vegetation, open meadow sections, and high-altitude grazing areas where yaks may appear along the path.

As you approach the destination, the sound of rushing water grows stronger. The Sacred Waterfall (神瀑) cascades directly from the slopes of Meili Snow Mountain (梅里雪山), forming a powerful curtain of water that is considered holy in Tibetan culture. Pilgrims often come here to complete ritual purification.

From the viewpoint, you can also see distant peaks including Goddess Peak (神女峰) and Five Crown Peak (五冠峰). After time for rest, photography, and exploration, begin the return trek back to Upper Yubeng Village (上雨崩村).

Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxed evening in the mountain village.

上雨崩-徒步神瀑-上雨崩: 徒步神瀑约14公里  约6小时   最高海拔约3700米

早餐后，我们从上雨崩村出发，跨过雨崩河，而后徒步穿越没有烟火气息的原始森林和高山牧场，一路往前，就能抵达从梅里雪山飞泄而下形成的神瀑，这里可以观看神女峰和五冠峰的全貌，更重要的是这里是朝圣者接受洗礼的地方，只有接受过神水的洗礼，整个朝圣之旅才算是完整，身体和心灵都得到净化，我们将会在16点返回上雨崩村。

Begin the descent through the Ninong Grand Canyon (尼农大峡谷), retracing the dramatic river valley route toward Ninong Village (尼农村). This approximately 15 km hike takes around 5 hours and offers a final chance to experience the deep gorges, forest corridors, and wild river landscapes of the Yubeng region.

After exiting the canyon, meet the vehicle and begin the long overland return journey. Drive through the scenic highland route, passing Shangri-La (香格里拉) before continuing back to Lijiang (丽江).

Arrive in the evening near Lijiang Old Town (丽江古城), where the tour concludes.
