Morning: Harbin Historical & Cultural Walk

Walking along Central Street, families will experience Harbin’s most iconic boulevard, paved with granite stones and lined with European-style buildings dating back to the early 20th century. The guide will explain how Russian engineers, merchants, and settlers shaped the city’s architecture, urban planning, and cultural identity.

In the Chinese Baroque district, guests will explore a unique fusion of Western façades and traditional Chinese courtyard life, gaining insight into Harbin’s multicultural past and its transformation from a frontier city into a modern cultural hub.

Afternoon: Harbin Polar Park Exploration

Harbin Polar Park & Polar Pavilion (哈尔滨极地公园·极地馆)

Families visit one of China’s most advanced polar-themed wildlife parks. Children will observe polar bears, penguins, Arctic wolves, seals, and dolphins while learning about polar ecosystems, climate conditions, and animal adaptations in extreme cold environments.

Interactive sessions include animal observation tasks and guided explanations tailored for young learners.

From approximately 16:00, children begin their exclusive overnight program inside the Polar Pavilion:

• Guided nighttime exploration of polar animal habitats

Children sleep inside heated glacier-themed indoor camping areas, sharing tents with a same-gender peer. Full supervision is provided with a 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio.

This protected area is dedicated to the conservation of the Northeast Tiger (Amur Tiger), one of the world’s most endangered big cats.

Children will learn:

Afternoon: Tiger Breeding & Research Center
