    Welcome to Chongqing, the legendary “Mountain City” built at the confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River, famous for its layered skyline and dramatic terrain.

    Upon arrival at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport or the railway station, you will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your downtown hotel by private vehicle. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free for relaxation or independent exploration.

    Chongqing is known for its unique night atmosphere where bridges, hills, rivers, and skyscrapers merge into a glowing urban landscape. You may choose to explore nearby scenic areas at your own pace.

    Chongqing City Highlights & Wulong Karst Transfer | Culture, Skyline & Metro Experience

    After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Chongqing’s cultural and urban highlights.

    Start at the Three Gorges Museum, one of the most important cultural institutions in southwest China, showcasing relics and history of the Yangtze River civilization and the Three Gorges region. Continue to the nearby People’s Assembly Hall, an iconic landmark known for its classical architecture inspired by traditional imperial design.

    Next, experience one of Chongqing’s most famous modern attractions — the Liziba Metro Station, where light rail trains pass directly through a residential building, creating a globally unique engineering scene.

    Continue to E’ling Park, one of the best viewpoints in the city, offering panoramic views of Chongqing’s layered skyline, rivers, and bridges.

    After sightseeing, depart by road for Wulong County (approx. 3 hours), located in the mountainous karst region southeast of Chongqing. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel in Xiannvshan Town and rest.

    Wulong Karst National Geological Park & High-Speed Train to Zhangjiajie | UNESCO Natural Wonder Exploration

    After breakfast, explore the breathtaking Wulong Karst National Geological Park, part of the UNESCO-listed South China Karst World Heritage Site.

    Begin your visit at the spectacular Three Natural Bridges, the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia. Descend into the valley by elevator and walk among massive limestone bridges including Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, surrounded by deep gorges, cliffs, and waterfalls. This area is also known for its film location in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

    Continue to Longshuixia Gap (Longshuixia Fissure Gorge), a narrow canyon stretching through lush forest and vertical rock walls. Walk along wooden pathways through waterfalls, streams, and dramatic cliff scenery, often described as a “natural oxygen bar.”

    After sightseeing, transfer to Wulong Railway Station and take a high-speed train to Zhangjiajie, a journey of approximately 2–3 hours through mountainous landscapes.

    Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel in Wulingyuan District, the gateway to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

    After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of the world-famous Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site known for its towering sandstone pillars and mystical misty landscapes.

    Start your journey at the Ten-mile Gallery, where a sightseeing tram takes you through a scenic valley surrounded by bizarre rock formations. Famous landmarks along the route include The Old Herb Picker, The Three Sisters Peaks, and The God of Longevity Welcoming Guests, creating a natural “stone painting scroll” experience.

    Continue to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, one of the most iconic highlights of Zhangjiajie. Take the world-famous Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor glass lift, rising dramatically from the valley floor to the mountaintop in just minutes. Once at the top, explore breathtaking viewpoints including the Hallelujah Mountain (Avatar Mountain), Ecstasy Terrace, and First Bridge Under Heaven, where dramatic stone pillars rise through clouds and mist.

    Afterward, proceed to Tianzi Mountain, known as the “Monarch of the Peak Forest.” From Helong Park, enjoy panoramic views of thousands of sandstone peaks stretching into the horizon. Key highlights include Yubi Peak, Fairy Flowers, and Warrior Training Horse, offering some of the most dramatic scenery in the park.

    After breakfast, prepare for an unforgettable visit to Tianmen Mountain, one of the most iconic natural landmarks in China.

    Begin with the legendary Tianmen Mountain Cableway, one of the longest passenger cableways in the world. Ascend from Zhangjiajie city to the mountain summit, passing over forests, cliffs, and the winding Tongtian Avenue (Heaven-Linking Road) with 99 dramatic bends.

    At the summit, explore the West Line Scenic Route, including highlights such as Tianmen Mountain Temple, Guigu Cliffside Walkway, and Glass Skywalks, offering thrilling views over steep cliffs and deep valleys.

    Continue your adventure with optional exploration of the East Line Scenic Area, featuring forest trails, viewpoints, and peaceful mountain landscapes.

    Next, take the Transmountain Escalator system, descending deep inside the mountain to reach the spectacular Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate) — a massive natural arch formed through erosion and collapse. From here, descend the famous 999-step Stairway to Heaven, a dramatic staircase leading down the mountain face.

    Start in the Lujiazui Financial District, the heart of Shanghai’s skyline. Visit the Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building, and take one of the world’s fastest elevators to the 118th-floor observation deck. From 546 meters above ground, enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the city, including the Huangpu River, Pudong skyscrapers, and the historic Bund area.

    Continue to the Shanghai Museum, home to world-class collections of ancient Chinese art, including bronzes, ceramics, jade, calligraphy, and paintings spanning over 5,000 years of history. The museum provides a deep cultural insight into China’s artistic heritage.

The exhibition highlights both the city’s history and its future urban development vision.

    Next, explore Tianzifang, a creative cultural district located within restored Shikumen-style residential lanes. Wander through narrow alleys filled with art studios, boutique shops, cafés, and galleries, blending traditional Shanghai lifestyle with modern artistic expression.

    Depending on your departure schedule, you may also enjoy optional short visits to nearby areas such as:
