6 Days Chengdu Jiuzhaigou High Speed Train Tour

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the railway station for your exciting high-speed train journey from Chengdu to the Jiuzhaigou region.

The train journey takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of Sichuan’s mountains and countryside before arriving at Huanglong Jiuzhai Railway Station (黄龙九寨站).

Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you directly to Jiuzhaigou Valley by private vehicle, with a journey of approximately 1.5–2 hours.

Along the way, enjoy views of the Tibetan-influenced mountain landscape, alpine valleys, rivers, and traditional villages. As you gradually enter the Jiuzhaigou region, you will notice the changing scenery from Sichuan plains to the high-altitude plateau environment.

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Jiuzhaigou National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site famous for its crystal-clear lakes, colorful forests, snow-capped mountains, and spectacular waterfalls.

Take the sightseeing bus into the valley and explore the three main scenic areas: Rize Valley, Zechawa Valley, and Shuzheng Valley. Visit the iconic Five Flower Lake, Panda Lake, Pearl Shoal Waterfall, Mirror Lake, Long Lake, Five-Color Pond, Nuorilang Waterfall, Rhinoceros Lake, and Shuzheng Waterfall.

Known as a natural fairyland, Jiuzhaigou features more than 100 turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, alpine forests, and Tibetan villages. The clear waters display different shades of blue, green, and emerald depending on the season and sunlight, creating some of China’s most beautiful landscapes.

Your guide will arrange the best sightseeing route according to weather, visitor flow, and your walking pace. You will combine sightseeing buses with short walks along wooden boardwalks to enjoy the scenery and capture unforgettable photos.

After the visit, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Travel Tips: Wear comfortable walking shoes, prepare suitable clothing according to the season, and enter the park early to avoid crowds. Lunch inside the valley has limited choices, so bringing snacks or packed food is recommended.

After breakfast, drive approximately 2 hours from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong National Park, one of China’s most spectacular alpine scenic areas and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Known as the “Yellow Dragon on Earth,” Huanglong is famous for its magnificent travertine landscape, featuring colorful pools, waterfalls, snow mountains, forests, and alpine scenery. The valley stretches beneath Xuebaoding Snow Mountain (5,588m), creating a breathtaking combination of limestone terraces and highland landscapes.

Take a cable car up to the upper section of the valley to save time and energy, then walk downhill through the scenic area. The highlight is the stunning Five-Color Ponds (3556m), a collection of hundreds of naturally formed colorful pools shining in shades of blue, green, and turquoise like precious jewels.

During the visit, enjoy views of:
