Morning – Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area

After breakfast, enter Wulong Karst Geopark, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site known for its extraordinary limestone formations. Visit Three Natural Bridges, the largest natural bridge group in Asia. Descend into the valley via sightseeing elevator and explore massive natural stone bridges, deep sinkholes, underground caves, waterfalls, and canyon systems formed over millions of years of geological evolution. The site is also a famous filming location for international movies due to its dramatic terrain.

Afternoon – Longshuixia Gorge

Continue to Longshuixia Gorge, a narrow limestone canyon featuring vertical cliff walls, dense forest vegetation, hanging waterfalls, and deep ravine landscapes. Walk along suspended wooden pathways and narrow trails inside the gorge where sunlight penetrates through rock fissures, creating strong light-and-shadow contrasts. The environment is rich in biodiversity and known as a “natural oxygen bar” within the karst system.

Evening – Return to Chongqing

Drive back to Chongqing city via expressway for overnight stay. Rest after a full day of geological exploration and hiking experience.

Morning – Cultural Landmarks of Chongqing

After breakfast, visit Three Gorges Museum, a major cultural institution showcasing the history of the Yangtze River, Three Gorges region development, and ancient civilization of southwest China. Continue to People’s Assembly Hall, an iconic architectural landmark representing traditional symmetry and large-scale civic construction.

Next experience Liziba Monorail Station, where a modern rail line passes directly through a residential building, highlighting Chongqing’s innovative urban engineering and vertical city structure.

Afternoon – Hongya Cave Scenic Experience

Visit Hongya Cave, a cliffside architectural complex built along the riverbank. The multi-layer wooden structures represent traditional Ba-Shu style architecture. At night, the entire complex becomes illuminated, creating one of the most famous night views in China with river reflections and layered glowing buildings.

Evening – Cruise Embarkation at Chaotianmen Port

Transfer to Chaotianmen Port and board your luxury Yangtze River Cruise. After check-in, attend safety briefing and cabin orientation. The cruise departs in the evening and begins sailing along the Yangtze River toward the Three Gorges region.

Morning – Sailing through Qutang Gorge

Wake up onboard the luxury Yangtze River Cruise and enjoy breakfast while entering Qutang Gorge, the shortest and most dramatic section of the Yangtze River. This gorge is famous for its extremely narrow river channel, towering limestone cliffs, and powerful natural scenery. From the sun deck or private balcony, you can clearly observe the steep canyon walls rising sharply from both sides of the river, creating a grand and intense landscape corridor.

Afternoon – Sailing through Wu Gorge & Optional Side Stream Excursion

Continue cruising into Wu Gorge, known for its long, deep valleys, mist-covered mountain peaks, and elegant layered ridge formations. The scenery becomes softer and more atmospheric, with clouds often floating between mountain ranges, creating a mystical river landscape.

In the afternoon, transfer to smaller sightseeing boats for optional excursions into side streams such as Shennv Stream or Shennong Stream, where guests can experience narrow canyon waterways, waterfalls, hanging cliffs, and untouched natural scenery. These areas are known for their pristine ecological environment and traditional cultural heritage along the river.

Evening – Captain’s Farewell Party

Return to the cruise ship for the Captain’s Farewell Party. Enjoy live performances, cultural shows, music entertainment, and onboard celebrations while the ship continues sailing through the night section of the Yangtze River, offering peaceful river scenery under illuminated deck lighting.

Morning – Visit Three Gorges Dam

After breakfast, disembark at Maoping Port and proceed to visit the world-famous Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydropower project in the world. This massive engineering structure controls flooding, generates electricity, and reshapes the flow of the Yangtze River. From observation platforms, you can enjoy panoramic views of the dam body, surrounding mountains, and the Xiling Gorge landscape.

Optional experience includes the Ship Lift system, one of the most advanced vertical ship transportation engineering projects in the world, allowing vessels to move between different water levels in a single operation.

Afternoon – Transfer to Yichang

After visiting the dam, take the cruise-arranged bus transfer to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal. Depending on schedule, guests may optionally visit local cultural sites or museums in Yichang before final departure arrangements.

Evening – Tour End in Yichang

Transfer to Yichang Sanxia Airport or railway station for departure. End of service after arrival at transport hub.
