After breakfast, begin your exploration of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (张家界国家森林公园).

First, take the cable car up to Huangshizhai Scenic Area (黄石寨), one of the park’s most famous panoramic viewpoints. Often called the “best viewpoint in Zhangjiajie,” Huangshizhai offers sweeping views over endless sandstone pillars, deep valleys, sea-like clouds, and dramatic mountain formations.

Continue your journey to the picturesque Golden Whip Stream (金鞭溪), a peaceful canyon trail known for crystal-clear water, fresh air, lush forests, and unusual rock formations. Walking alongside the gentle stream provides a relaxing contrast to the towering cliffs above.

In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge (张家界大峡谷玻璃桥), one of the most famous glass bridges in the world. Suspended high above the canyon floor, the transparent bridge offers breathtaking views of waterfalls, cliffs, forests, and the deep valley below. It is one of the best locations in Zhangjiajie for panoramic photography and thrilling experiences.

Today’s journey showcases the most iconic mountain scenery in Zhangjiajie.

After entering the national forest park, ride the famous Bailong Elevator (百龙天梯) to reach the elevated sandstone world of Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (袁家界). Here you will see the legendary floating peaks that inspired the landscapes in the movie Avatar. Famous attractions include the “First Bridge Under Heaven,” towering sandstone columns, and dramatic cliffside viewpoints.

Continue to Tianzi Mountain (天子山), one of the most beautiful scenic areas in Zhangjiajie. Known for its “sea of peaks,” shifting clouds, and spectacular sunrise scenery, Tianzi Mountain provides some of the most impressive panoramic views in the region. The scenic cable car descent offers unforgettable aerial views of forests, cliffs, and valleys.

Later, explore the peaceful Ten-mile Gallery (十里画廊) by sightseeing train. Along the route, admire unique rock formations, quiet valleys, and beautiful natural scenery surrounded by towering peaks and dense vegetation.

After the tour, transfer to downtown Zhangjiajie and check into your hotel near Tianmen Mountain.

After breakfast, visit the legendary Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park (天门山国家森林公园), one of China’s most spectacular mountain destinations.

Take the world-famous Tianmen Mountain Cable Car, one of the longest mountain cableways in the world, offering breathtaking aerial views of forests, cliffs, villages, and the winding “99-Bend Road to Heaven.”

At the summit, explore the thrilling glass skywalks and cliffside pathways suspended high above the valley. These transparent walkways provide unforgettable panoramic views and exciting photo opportunities.

Continue to the famous Tianmen Cave (天门洞), also known as Heaven’s Gate, a giant natural archway formed within the mountain. Escalators and shoe covers are included for a more comfortable experience.
