2 Days Xian Group Tour with Tang Dynasty Dance Show

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in downtown Xi’an in the morning. After joining the group, you will drive approximately 1 hour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum (兵马俑).

Before the main visit, you will stop at a Terracotta Figures Factory, where you can observe how replica warriors are crafted using traditional methods. This helps you understand the techniques behind one of the most important archaeological discoveries in China.

At the museum, explore the three main excavation pits in detail:

• Pit 1: The largest hall, featuring thousands of infantry soldiers arranged in battle formation with chariots and horses
• Pit 2: A more complex military formation including archers, cavalry, and mixed weapon units
• Pit 3: Believed to be the command center, offering insight into ancient military strategy

Your guide will explain the history of Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) and the creation of his underground army, built to guard his tomb for eternity.

After lunch, continue to the Banpo Museum (半坡博物馆), one of China’s most important prehistoric archaeological sites. Here you will see reconstructed dwellings, pottery workshops, burial sites, and daily tools from a 6,000-year-old Neolithic settlement, offering a rare glimpse into early human civilization in the Yellow River region.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Music & Dance Show (唐代歌舞表演). The performance combines classical music, elegant costumes, and storytelling that recreates the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. After the show, return to your hotel.

After breakfast, begin your full-day city tour with the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (小雁塔) and Xi’an Museum (西安博物馆). This peaceful complex showcases Buddhist relics, ancient architecture, and historical artifacts spanning multiple dynasties.

Next, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Square (大雁塔北广场), a large open plaza known for its fountains, sculptures, and cultural atmosphere. It is a great place for photos and relaxed walking.

After lunch, proceed to the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an (西安城墙), the most complete ancient city wall in China. You may walk along the top or rent a bicycle to enjoy a panoramic view of the old and modern city blending together.

Continue to the Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square (钟鼓楼广场), the geographical and cultural center of Xi’an, surrounded by traditional architecture, shopping streets, and modern city life.

Finally, explore the Muslim Quarter (回民街), a vibrant street filled with food stalls and local specialties. Try iconic dishes such as roujiamo (肉夹馍), lamb skewers, and liangpi (凉皮), while experiencing the lively atmosphere of Xi’an’s multicultural heritage.
