09:00–09:40 | Departure to Yaso Tea Culture Tourism Base
Guests gather at the designated location in Kunming (昆明) and depart by tourist coach or private vehicle. During the journey, the guide introduces the highlights of the experience, including six major tea category production processes, handmade compressed tea cake DIY, personalized signature tea souvenirs, and international export tea production standards.
Along the way, visitors learn about Yunnan large-leaf tea (云南大叶种茶), the history of Chinese tea culture, and the ancient Tea Horse Road (茶马古道) that connected Yunnan tea with regions across Asia.
09:40–10:00 | Arrival, Registration & Factory Preparation
Upon arrival at Fumin Dongyuan Ecological Food Processing Park (富民东元生态食品加工园) and Banpo Tea Factory (半坡茶厂), guests complete registration and receive factory visiting equipment, including dust-free workshop shoe covers and protective caps.
Professional staff introduce workshop safety rules, visiting procedures, and the upcoming handmade tea experience. The factory provides convenient parking facilities for self-driving visitors and tourist groups.
10:00–10:40 | Tea Culture Learning & Exhibition Hall Experience
The tea culture classroom provides a systematic introduction to the history, production, and modern development of Chinese tea. Guests first learn about Banpo Tea Co., Ltd. (半坡茶业), including its complete tea industry chain, specialized enterprise qualifications, Kunming Enterprise Technology Center recognition, ISO22000 food safety management system, export tea qualifications, and TERP intelligent tea factory management system.
Professional instructors introduce the six major tea categories, including Green Tea (绿茶), Ancient Tree White Tea (古树白茶), Yunnan Black Tea / Dianhong Tea (滇红), Pu’er Raw Tea (普洱生茶), Pu’er Ripe Tea (普洱熟茶), and Flower & Fruit Tea (花果茶). Visitors learn about differences in raw materials, production techniques, aroma, taste, and brewing methods.
The exhibition area displays ancient tea tree specimens, tea-making equipment, patented technologies, YASO TRIP export tea standard samples, and customized souvenir tea cake examples. The guide also explains the history of the Tea Horse Road, differences between Chinese and overseas tea drinking cultures, and international tea quality control standards. Bilingual service is available for overseas groups.
10:40–11:40 | Full-Category Dust-Free Tea Factory Tour
The factory tour is one of the highlights of the experience. Visitors follow a professional guide through the glass sightseeing corridor and observe the standardized tea production process in a clean and modern environment.
The Green Tea and Ancient Tree White Tea production lines demonstrate fresh tea leaf spreading, fixing, withering, low-temperature drying, and dust-free packaging procedures. The Dianhong Black Tea production line shows temperature-controlled withering, fermentation control, aroma enhancement, and export tea packaging processes.
At the Pu’er Tea production area, visitors learn about raw material selection, tea sorting, ripe Pu’er fermentation, electrostatic dust removal, bulk tea packaging, and export packaging standards. The factory also displays the complete production process of compressed Pu’er products, including 8g mini tea cakes, 100g tea cakes, 200g tea cakes, 357g traditional seven-piece cakes, Pu’er tea pearls, and tea bricks.
Guests can observe the complete pressing process, including weighing, steam softening, handmade shaping, hydraulic pressing, temperature-controlled drying, and automatic cotton paper or aluminum foil packaging.
The YASO TRIP export tea processing workshop provides a special introduction to international tea production standards, including export raw material selection, multiple quality inspections, country-specific packaging requirements, traceability coding, and container storage procedures. Visitors can directly observe modern equipment operation and understand the differences between domestic tea production and export tea standards.
11:40–12:40 | Handmade Tea DIY & Personalized Tea Souvenir Experience
The handmade workshop allows visitors to create their own unique tea souvenirs. The recommended experience for Yaso Trip groups is the personal signature souvenir tea cake DIY, available in different sizes such as 8g, 100g, 200g, and 357g.
Participants select Yunnan Lincang ancient tree raw or ripe tea materials, complete precise weighing, steam softening, handmade shaping, and traditional stone mold pressing under the guidance of professional tea masters.
With the Yaso Trip exclusive customization service, visitors can add personal signatures, travel dates, group logos, and handwritten blessing messages onto the tea cake packaging. After natural drying and professional vacuum packaging, the finished tea cake becomes a personalized travel souvenir.
The experience also includes optional activities such as Pu’er tea pearl DIY and flower tea blending. Visitors can manually create portable tea pearls or design their own tea blends using ingredients such as rose, jasmine, and dried tangerine peel. These activities are suitable for families, children, and senior travelers.
During the workshop, tea masters explain handmade tea techniques, tea storage methods, and the aging process of Pu’er tea.
12:40–13:20 | Professional Tea Tasting Experience
The tea tasting session allows visitors to compare the flavors and characteristics of six major tea categories, including Green Tea (绿茶), Ancient Tree White Tea (古树白茶), Dianhong Black Tea (滇红), Pu’er Raw Tea (普洱生茶), Pu’er Ripe Tea (普洱熟茶), and Flower & Fruit Tea (花果茶).
The instructor explains the differences between spring tea and autumn tea, aroma characteristics, taste changes, and professional brewing methods.
Guests also experience a comparison between domestic tea products and YASO TRIP export-standard tea, learning about differences in quality inspection, flavor control, packaging standards, and international market requirements.
Visitors can brew their own handmade tea products and learn practical skills, including suitable water temperature, tea quantity, moisture-proof storage, and long-term tea preservation methods. The session also provides information about export tea customization and cultural tourism souvenir tea cooperation.
13:20–13:30 | Souvenir Shopping & Return to Kunming
Before departure, guests visit the tea exhibition and souvenir area featuring standard tea gift products, export packaged tea, cultural tea products, and tea accessories.
Visitors collect their handmade tea souvenirs or arrange delivery services. After the final group photo, guests return to Kunming (昆明) by coach or private vehicle, completing the half-day Yaso Trip Tea Culture Experience Tour.
