It was designed by the American firm SCHMIDT-CURLEY DESIGN, INC (史密特-科里高尔夫设计公司), with oversight by stylist Brait. The golf club is situated in the eastern part of the Qingshui Bay Tourist Resort, nestled between mountains and the sea, bordered by Jiushao Ridge Forest Park to the north and the South China Sea to the south, boasting a stunning 2-kilometer coastline along the Pearl Coast.

Designed by JMP — Mark E. Hollinger (马克·霍林格), the course ingeniously combines links-style elements with tropical coastal landscapes, creating a unique, refined, and harmonious tropical garden links course. The undulating greens, subtly contoured fairways, and elegantly shaped bunkers present challenges for golfers.

Course Design

The expansive landscape features sandy areas that provide a distinctive desert golf aesthetic. The Jianhu Blue Bay Clubhouse overlooks the tranquil waters of Qingshui Bay, where streams flow through the clubhouse's axis and merge with volcanic lava flows next to the 18th hole, extending into a narrow lake by the beach. Even while relaxing in the clubhouse, one can enjoy breathtaking ocean views, the scents and sights of sun and sea, and the sounds of tropical plants, allowing you to savor a fleeting moment of leisure amid urban life and fully enjoy your vacation.
